@@jennywalborn7769 It has to do with 2 things 1 the personality of the female gorilla and genki Not so much momentaro I have a really strong feeling if he was paired with a different type of female with a different personality that was more affectionate and and friendly towards him And in the 2nd thing being that they had a lot more space which they are really cramped up in there it would be such a such a happier family to watch because he is a really great father too with his kids and really loves his kids there's kids but the mom keeps them away from him and never spend time with him either it has a lot to do with the fact that he was here the son of a gorilla that rejected her in the past and they made a mistake by putting them together

This is one of the best enclosures I've seen. Lots of space and integrated 👍. The Momotaro's desperately need a bigger enclosure with a grassy area.

Thankfully we can see when Gorillas are provided an appropriate living environment, that they thrive, we can see their happiness, affection, interactions and contentment. That makes us feel good - even though no one really wants to be caged.
