Thank you for this review. I have been very curious about Alva, and this was most helpful. I have a larger circumference (Estetica wigs usually fit me at their largest adjustment) so I think Noriko is pretty much off the table. But the style of Alva is very nice. I will be on the lookout for a similar style that will fit my larger than average circumference. Blessings and hugs! Shelly
Hi Denise, I just ordered this wig in the Silver Stone, as it is pretty much my natural hair color. I plan on trimming the bangs and adding something to the top roots to make a little darker. Love your videos. Excellent presentation. I have 22 circumference and most Noriko wigs are too tight for me but I have learnt to enlarge them by cutting the band near the adjuster straps. It’s really easy and means I’m not confined to wearing large cap only. Danielle from Godiva wigs does an excellent demo of making a wig bigger.

Extremely cute cut and I love the color on you. So great you can wear so many colors. I just wish it was not a basic cap, it looks too wiggy at the top, in my opinion. Once I had a lace front and lace part it is impossible to go backwards and wear a basic cap. Surely they can make this exact wig with a lace part and front in case you want to sweep the bangs????
They do have a wig that looks like it might be similar with more cap features... it is called Zane. I haven't tried it but do think it looks like it could be similar.

I must tell you that the color is absolutely stunning on you Denise! You really do look wonderful in many of these more casual style Strader wiggs.. I know that you personally prefer the wavy and curly styles. And I do get that, as I, too, feel more glam in a wavier style wig. I find that the problem on those wigs is to maintain the curl pattern after you've had to maintain the unit. Sometimes, just to get a break from those wigs, I like a very casual cute, on trend, straighter style wig for everyday! Of course, for date night, I still love my glamorous wavy styles. Sarah by Jon Renau, Oh, a straight or one that can be curly or straight would be Scene Stealer by Raquel Welch or Mesmerized. Some of my old time favorites are Miles of Style, or Longing for Long. All those great regular synthetics! Too bad they changed shaded biscuit to be so dark. Really too bad, they made so many heat de- fiant pieces (so difficult to maintain); they are sometimes just a pain to maintain. Though I look better in them, it's too much to take care of for every day.. That's the number one reason they have date night status. Do you think you could recommend a very on trend, flattering for an oval shaped face, straighter style wig? (about shoulder length) One that would fit a petite / average head? Thanks! 😇🤭🤗
What I really hate about these Silver, not gray wigs is they always make the bangs Sooo silvery and lighter than all the rest which makes it look like a wig to me and really washes me out so I never order them now. My hair is true gray, not silver. I wish you could mention that to all these wig places. Thanks
Hi Denise I have the Rochelle wig from Godiva wigs. It is almost the same color.. I see a lot of permatease In the front as well as some of the wefting. I think putting a root color on it would help to hide that…any thoughts on that? I wish I could send you a pic so you could see.
Hi, Francine. I haven't. My understanding is that they have worked with Noriko to carry some of their styles under their own name. I haven't been able to find good enough deals on their wigs to justify purchasing because I would lose way too much on the resell. Maybe I'll reach out and see if they would be willing to work with me on some reviews. I know they provide a lot of support to the wig community.
My Alva is much more narrrow than yours , yours look way fuller, and my bangs are longer than yours aswell. But you look amazing in grey even, I have mine in Melted marshamallow, but I dont wear her as she is just a little too nice for me. Im more of a rocker chick :D

I have cut the adjusters out of a few Noriko wigs and it makes a HUGE difference and doesn't harm the wig at all. Something to consider.

Yes, I do think putting a root color could help. Some people use the sprays but I don't like the way they coat the fibers and make them sort of stiff.
