Big mistake with not putting WIRELESS Apple Car Play in 2024 Tucson Limited. My 2021 Santa Fe didn’t have wireless and I dealt with it for 3 years. Now my 2024 Tucson still has plug in for Apple Car Play. Love the car HATE the car play issue. It’s 2024, nothing should have to be connected through USB port😩😩
I would much rather hate wired connection. Always efficient and works 100% of the time. My tucson has wireless connection and i have to set it up every time i get in the car plus theres a 2 second delay which is pretty annoying.
What a mess! My mind went blank about half way through. The statement "in some models" always irritates me in these videos. What about my model? I never know if I need to do what they are talking about or not. Then they say to check your owners manual. My new Santa Fe came with six manuals, none of which are specific to my model. I still don't ever know if the information is for me or not.
I'm thinking the same thing as well. You'd expect it to be the other way round (wired-only on lower trims, wired and wireless connection options on more expensive trims) but apparently not!
I saw on another post that it is because Hyundai want to force the car owner to use the Hyundai Navigation system, which wouldn't be a problem if they had their maps updated as frequently as Apple does, I have tried to find a simple chase ATM twice and it sent me somewhere that had no chase bank for at least a year. :(
The higher end Hyundai’s have enhanced speaker systems that must use Bluetooth or Wi-Fi on a channel that conflict’s with the wireless Apple play. I understand there is a fix in the works that can be downloaded one of these days.
My wireless CarPlay disconnects always at the same intersection, maybe some kind of interference? So once a day in my commute, I know it will stop working. It drops out, and completely shuts down CarPlay. So I can’t be on a phone call, or listen to music while at this lengthy traffic light. Also every month or so I need to do a full reset on the system, because it won’t connect to my already paired phone. All I want is WIRED, RELIABLE CARPLAY
I have the same issue on my Hyundai Staria in South Africa. It might actually be an Apple problem because I have the exact same issue in a different car with a Pioneer Head Unit that has Apple Car Play.
If i have wireless, there is no way to make it work plugged? There is always interruption wireless and i don't want to use the data. It also shows my bluetooth is not connected but it is...
I drive i20 MHEV Auto Premium….and use an iPhone, but not sure how to connect to use Apple CarPlay. Vehicle model does not have wireless phone charging. Do I need to connect to a phone cable?
Way too many steps are involved here. Sure, most people can follow the prompts and complete the process, but one would think that Hyudai's engineers could make this process much simpler. Just one reason that other car makers offer better choices.
Hi @HyundaiUSA, I have a 2023 Elantra Essential in the province of Ontario in Canada. It comes with an 8 inch screen with wireless Apple Carplay. With music turned on, if I have voice navigation turned on (Waze or Google Maps), the music completely stops during the voice prompts and then turns back on once the voice navigation prompt is over. I would like the option to have my music volume lowered (instead of turning it off completely) during voice prompts. Please let me know if that would be possible. Thank you
@@Video-tn3vwwireless CarPlay is terrible. Drops out (like literally un pairs the phone) randomly because of interference and sometimes just won’t work at all. You want WIRED, solid connection. I have Elantra as well
Neither does the 2024 palisade calligraphy. :/ we just got it and I love the car except the fact that I need to plug in the phone every time for CarPlay 🙄 my phone never leaves my bag and now I need to take it out every time.
Absolutely awful the Bluetooth doesn't connect to Apple play and I'm stuck without navigation without any option to connect to USB directly which would be stable and 100%. It leaves me stranded without directions
Ummm, just use your phone’s navigation (Apple Maps or Google Maps, etc.). Lotta people driving cars without CarPlay that use navigation this way. Deep breaths…
I agree. Mine was a brand new vehicle whose features are supposed to work and within a few months, poof - gone. It’s just a gimmick to get you hooked it looks like. All the “amazing” things the car has to offer until it doesn’t.
Not understanding why people are experiencing so many issues. Simply plugged in my USB, connected it to my Bluetooth and was able to use navigation, hands free text messaging, can listen to text messages, my Apple Music, Spotify or anything else that’s on my phone
La verdad ese Elantra no es nada confortable fui al dealer del 290 y no me vine lo tardan a uno mucho para que se desespere y le ofrecen opciones la verdad no lo recomiendo ese día tbn unas parejas salieron hechando madre de hay

Absolutely support you, especially the fact that we have wireless charger in Limited, but don’t have wireless CarPlay just don’t make ANY sense!
Blame apple
Stop crying

Hello plz fix the lagging problem with apple car play when using google maps and waze thanks I have sonata 2023
So the high end limited trim has no wireless android auto but lower trims do.. Why the fuck is it so backwards???
I'm thinking the same thing as well. You'd expect it to be the other way round (wired-only on lower trims, wired and wireless connection options on more expensive trims) but apparently not!
Thing is, wireless is garbage. Drops out at random places because of interference and sometimes won’t work at all. You want a solid wired connection
@@conrado800 well thats just a shitty wireless connection. They not all are

Hilarious the the cheaper SEL has wireless connectivity

I’ve got a 21 palisade base model that allows wireless Apple car play, just got a loaded 23 Palisade and it has to be plugged in I don’t understand

Just got a Sonata, no wireless CarPlay and USB A only. The car is great, but there are details that are so outdated that is disappointing
Should have got a 2023
That’s what I got
2023 mostly wont have wireless only base models have wireless i bought venue 2023 sx o and i have to use wire

Can you please tell how to turn off radio in elantra 2023 preferred tecg
Does anyone know which system Hyundai use?
I.e. Sony, Kenwood, Pioneer etc?
My car is connected to Apple car play and works great except the speaking volume when my texts are read is very low. How do I make it louder
Turn the volume up on ur phone and it makes it louder in car
The menu system has a setting someplace that adjusts volume output for four or five different items. I can’t remember where but just keep looking.
does Hyundai Elantra SEL 2024 have a wireless carplay?
It doesn't. Base model has it. But sel doesnt 😂
Hi watching in Saudi Arabia, I have Hyundai Azera model 2021 it doesn’t Wi-Fi on my screen and can’t connect my iPhone on carplay
iphone 15 pro max does not come with USB connector, is 2024 and I need to plug my phone through unexisting cable?
Simply use a USB-C to USB-A cable
@@TrevorJohnstonIllustrationdo you know which brand is best. I’m using MI power bank cable but it losses connection.

You have to mute the voice in the apps
Ya this is a setting on your google maps. You need to mute the google voice. I don’t think it has anything to do with your car but rather your phone
Ps. How is the wireless CarPlay? I’m getting the same car

You should do a pailsade N
