The music video makes the song even better. The visual to me is “I’m my own worst enemy” or “watch me destroy myself” but the video also shows a self awareness. Lyrics in this and other songs of his are like “I know my faults and shortcomings, but I won’t change, even though I don’t want to hurt anyone. Sometimes I get in the way of the best version of me that I will be one day. But shit, I know how I can be, and all I can do is take the growth I make as I get older, and be better, sooner.” Lol, I said to much, but the last part, what I basically meant was.
