【Cost of $ 200 or less】 Aluminum frame circular saw slide guide
- I made a circular saw guide using an aluminum frame.
The cost of parts is JPY 17,000 in Japan.
In other words, I was able to procure parts for less than $ 200.
* However, there is no guarantee that parts can be procured outside Japan for $ 200 ...
The aluminum frame is cut at the factory.
Therefore, it can be easily assembled by simply joining with bolts.
Not only woodworking but also aluminum frame can be processed stably.
Ideal for start-up woodworkers who do not have enough processing equipment.

I really admire how clean your tools are.
Awww! I was about to buy the material to make a wooden one, but this version seems much better!
Great design as usual!
Great and simple 👍 it’s so damn cool to talk the Craft language. No barriers.
Thank you for another beautiful video! Looking forward to the next!
I really like the way you are showing how you make your things, and the way you go directly and precise to the work, without music or talking because everyone can clearly see what you are doing, you are a great inspiration. Keep up your good work JSK-koubou 😃 cheers from Denmark

Tidiness, neatness, cleanliness & many more things are UNBEATABLE !! Watching @ JSK-koubou is like meditating 🤪
So glad I came across this channel. While watching 80/20 videos. Awesome work
Great video! Thanks for sharing your work!
Beautiful work as always. We posted this video on our homemade tools forum this week :)
I kept trying to build a wooden one with steel bars, and had some issues with cuts off by 1-2 mm... This is an excellent option for my issue, thanks.
Looks super nice! As always.
I made a 'square cut' jig years ago out of scraps and a few screws and I still have it. Find some sturdy sheet material 30" x 12", fix 30" 2"x 2" along far edge and 12" 2"x 2" along near edge on right side. Fix 2" x 1" wood saw guide at right angles on right side and fix thin steel plate for saw to ride on. Now run the saw across guide&plate and cut the marker on the 2" x 2". Now all you need do is slide the wood under, line up cut line with marker cut and run saw across to get accurate straight 90 degree cuts every time. That's the basic idea - you can work out the detail.
Absolutely seems like a better alternative , safe, rather than a table saw for many projects.
Robertson - Brasil.
Awesome. Good job mate!
@openworld poland
The theme of my craft is not "cheaper".
The theme is "safer".
@openworld poland His channel is gearing to making precision, and quality built tools. Not cheap nor crabby quality built. If you want cheap and crabby quality tools then you can look for tools "Made In China" . Not all tools from China are bad quality, they do have lots of good tools too, but you have to pay for higher prices. Like everything else in this world, the better built quality products involve more detailed planning, design and manufacture cost. Therefore more expensive. My theory is...Pay a little more for tools/products with good quality and they will last a lifetime...You will save more (money, time and headaches) in the end plus the most important factor... .ENVIRONMENT WASTE will be less, better for planet earth.
@@jisakukobo Is safer and beautiful... 👍
What a precision Love your work
Spot on! Brilliant design!
Congratulations. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for an excellent video. I really like your video instructions. I admire your meticulous attention to detail and skills in design and presentation. I have subscribed as I like your designs and video presentations so much. Best wishes from Australia.
I cannot send you congratulations, not because your work (that is excellent), but because you are going to make many persons unhappy by showing them the magnificent materials available to you, but not for many of others! Sincere admiration for your work and video, extremely well done and enjoyable! (you make me feel jealous!).
But Alfredo - this Aluminium extrusion you can get in almost any part of the world!
Also the Makita saw - and that plus some fasteners and screws is basically all you need
@@kniefi The only similar aluminum profiles available in Mexico are those called "80-20 system", but are too expensive here...
Very, Very clever!!

This is undoubtedly the best circular saw jig ever!
A very expensive one too I'm sure.
soooo clean!!!
Projeto excelente, com precisão,
e utilidade, pena que o material aqui no Brasil é caro.
One gigantic, beautiful puzzle - which, if you can figure out how to put it together and then figure out all the ways it will make your life easier, is worth more than it's weight in gold.
Just watching how he works is fun in itself.
Excellent work. Thank you.
Magnifico parabens
Nice look.. neat work. keep it up
I envy you how your channel has developed, I am not so lucky, nice video.
Maravilloso muy bueno.
Very well done! I’ve been using my table saw a lot lately, but I think there are a lot of things that a guided circular saw could do better than a table saw and using less space. The big difference is the size of the deck for a guided saw versus the size of the infeed/outfeed tables needed for large stock. I think you could also rip stock using your guide, but you’d need a way to clamp securely . For thin stock, hold-downs would work, but I wonder if there’s a way to make a full-length clamp that presses down on the stock close to the cut?... it’s got me thinking.
Awesome job, always nice to see your video. So many talk during your videos, but yours are relaxing and still very informative! Thank you for sharing
What an Artist!

Kobu is really a King :)
Amazing

Ninja style!
Great design. Expensive, but still very cool. I’m surprised you didn’t use the linear bearings like on your panel saw design.
Awesome 👍
Very talented
It's like Lego for grown-ups. Great build!
Maestro.
Awesome job
So good so great
Excellent.
Amazing idea and build.. can you put also an angular jig and a router attachment? I think cuold be a very amazing modular base for other tools/work
Greetings from Italy!
The circular saw base handles any bevel angle. Clamping materials at the angle you need handles any crosscut angles. The slide rails will guide any standard router base.
