Do not panic if you get Volt switch on your Raikou. It has another quick move. (Thunder shock.) Its not like zapdos with only 1 quick move.
Took me three attempts, but I got an Entei today. These seem so much tougher to catch than the birds. Entei is really easy to take down though, so that's nice.
Only one Raikou has spawned in my neck of the woods so far. It was this morning and I was asleep! Haven't seen another one all day.....but I'm determined to get one.
I caught my Raikou by a critical on the last. The funny thing is that i was like " oh it's gonna run either way so I didn't give it berry nor gave the ball a spin. So catching Pokemon on last ball is possible.
I caught my first Raikou on the second-to-last ball and it was my 7-Day streak I got it with an excellent a curveball and I got 5000 or so Stardust

I got my Entei first and only raid I did so far^^ Caught him with the penultimate ball, hit great throws all the way through and ~ 95% of the time he jumped out after the ball shook twice xD

entei and suicune was easy for me with nanab berry and the first ball. raikou is a big problem well i'll have to try great throws
Today I was 4/4 on Raikou, 1/1 on Lugia, and 2/2 on Articuno. Lol wtf?!? The niantic gods blessed me today.
Now you know how I feel with every legendary it jumps out of it every time so easy
Congrats Mystic, I caught mine on the very last ball too with no berry and no critical so it looks as if the last ball glitch has mostly been rectified although your second attempt seemed questionable.
Finally!!! Glad you finally caught your Raikou.
You should use Poke Genie. It tells you what the Pokémon would be when you evolve and power it up. It also tells you the IV's

I caught 2/3 with straight throws cause I'm too nervous to do curveballs on legendaries. No golden raspberries for one of them either, caught it with the regular raspberry. :D

Caught 2 today and almost the third one i tried. caught a 1900 CP which was 93 IV. The best thing you can do is make sure its a curve ball and make sure to try for excellent throws. He seems a little easier than Lugia but 2% catch rate tells otherwise. Also Raikou is of the feline family. He has nothing that resembles he is a dog lol.

Got an Articuno today in a raid (which was my first Legedary that have) along with with catching an 1730 or so Jolteon (was a pain to catch and had to 4-8 Ultra Balls on top of using some other pokeballs) on my way home.
