As an EA developer we spend many hours, weeks, or months testing and debugging, once I see those results from an EA I know that it is a scam, I didn't realize until I see this great video, I learn every day from developing ideas, and to be a successful trader and developer takes time and effort and if I want to sell my future bots, I have to make sure that people who wanted to buy my EA''s the product have to be an excellent product at least 70% to 90% at least perfect, so in that way can have nice reviews, for me better to have 10 or 100 customers, friends happy auto trading than scamming people.
Haha, yes obviously but there is very little content out there from hich you can actually learn or that shows best practice. Are you able to package python code into an mt5 EA that you can sell in the marketplace and especially use in the MT5 backtester?

If mlq5 wiling to be respected as a legit place to software rental/purchase they shuld truck investigate and ban vendors who do this. Couse what you show Rene is just an example of a scam. Mlq5 shuld also allow to do demo forward test as just what you show backtest results to evaluate purchase decision is not enough anymore. Great work . Thank you
I've made some EA myself, tested them. But, I don't use it. One thing that EA or AI can not do is the gut feeling that always helps me win. I just stick to my method and trade with no emotion. A famous statistician, John Von Neumann said:"Stock market is like a casino with the odds on your side." So is the forex market. Gut feeling and no emotion are crucial in this game dude.😀
A guy who created it is genius. Upload some risky martingale EA, call it something like AI, GPT... Show complex formulas in the description which don't make any sense and voilà. Hundreds of apes willing to pay thousand of dollars for it. This AI mania is unbelievable.

You will learn all the tools that you need for mql5 programming. When you understood the basics you will be able to write whatever you want ;) it takes some practice but it is worth it!

I don't know. I cannot see the future. In the past it has been the range breakout (for me in my live account). But I did not test every EA in a live account so I cannot really answer this question.
So all these bots end up being scams at the end , makes me think if it is even possible to create a trading bot that can generate descent returns on a consistent basis, otherwise somebody would've come up with it by now !
I fixed some errors but still have a 5 errors with line 21, 19, 22, 26, 27could you help me please ? I fixed all of them but after test cleaning demo account very fast 😮
Couldn't we investigate using this idea to trade based on the previous candle(s) OHLC data like pivot points and Fibonacci? Perhaps incorporate the machine learning code that uses previous OHLC and the "scraped" sentiment of the market (with social media) as inputs to the Expert Advisor.

However i have a question non related to this video, when i backtest an EA using the "every tick" model and it shows a losing equity curve, but when i backtest it using the "every tick based on real tick" model and it shows profitability, does the EA have to have a positive equity curve on both every tick and real tick model or only the real tick model is what matters? @@addICTed_to_USD good question. Usually it is the other way round and the test is worse when you test 'based on real ticks'. You could run it in a demo account for a while to check it the results from the tester can be replicated.

Thats why when you buy a EA you need to look if the person has a real signal and other people have been using it .

The "quality control" on mql5 is just an automated process. I guess they just check for order/trading operation errors

Backtesting is always useless to judge an ea good or not, but many people just like it:) that’s why 90% of peoples are losing.
