Ok so I had good hands and didn’t know it…then I listened to an idiot telling me how to have “good hands” and decided I didn’t have good hands. I had been getting really good results then made the mistake of not trusting myself, now I’m back to enjoying lightness and willingness in my mules and horses. There are some bad people information out there, Larry is not one of them. Larry always has some great information and insights. All Layed out so easy to implement.

Yes, he's a good looking horse. I actually purchased him from one of my clients. It was a good buy.

Too many people are using their aids (hands, legs) in a middling area of not light enough, and also not firm enough. What I mean is, they don't ask lightly, but they also don't follow up an ignored aid with a firm enough correction either. Its always the same middling pressure. Its simultaneously not comfortable enough for the horse to strive towards, nor is it uncomfortable enough for the horse to want to avoid. It's just always the same, and the horse wears it, and learns not much, because nothing he does makes it lighter, and nothing he does makes it firmer
