A tribute to Sonic the Hedgehog | Fan Animation

Happy birthday Sonic! you're a gaming Superstar who's been running for 32 years straight (with a lot of curves in the path)

C R E A T I O N :
This short animation is a hybrid between several cutscenes from Sonic past games, with many references. It was realised with Blender 3D software, everything was made by myself except some assets and textures that came from Sonic Generations.
The characters models were made by my own, with a slight different design from the Official models, I used actual hair particles for the fur instead of flat textures (because why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
and since Amy is now canon in Team Sonic, I did not finish her model so she's not there 🥲
I did this project in only a month and a half, so there might be imperfections in the animation, and the island is very "compressed" to avoid high expenses in rendering (if I got more time, I would recreate the whole South Island and put the zones in it XD)

I composed the music on Cakewalk by Bandlab, this is a reprise of Sonic 3D Blast Saturn intro theme and You Can Do Anything from Sonic CD, with the use of megadrive soundfont for some instruments
