Be aware that the Panasonic is an older design with some concessions for the Japan market it was originally made for; its speaker is tuned for high treble to better match the audio profile of Japan's radio stations - you'll note in the section where you momentarily turned each radio way up that the Sony had a much fuller, larger sound. Commercial radio listening in Japan also doesn't involve trying to receive distant stations, so the Panasonic is not quite on par with the Sony's larger AM ferrite bar/more recent FM components for pulling weaker signals. But hopefully everyone has either of these fine radios for when the power goes out, stay safe. And great review 👍
