I had a similar issue with my ultra clx after I adjusted trigger, it was fine out off the stock but when in the stock wouldn’t cock until I added a little more pull weight to trigger.
Glad you put this vid up , was ( and may still do ) buying thre Mrs an Hatsan for her birthday , the Nova Star Premium -- not cheap , but has the buddy bottle she wants , plus likes the look of .. do you think similar issues may occur in the Nova as well ? ... bit wary now ..
No, she won't have any issues with the Nova Star. The issue with the Gladius is like a lot of Bullpups. The linkage arm adds a second trigger to the linkage arm, which all creates minute problems do to the set up. Sinse making this film, I have stripped the rifle right down and built it up again. I have put 80 shots through it with no issues at all. You'll see the difference in the video uploading on Sunday morning. I have shot the Nova Star with carbon bottle. It belonged to Jack. It was a very nice rifle, but he didn't keep it long enough to have a good opinion. He purchased the .22 version. I would have gone for the .177. He did have accuracy issues, but I think the barrel needed a good clean to solve the issue. It makes for a great bench gun, and comes with a fantastic adjustable stock. ruclips.net/video/pUVQR8KVARM/видео.html
@@airgunsniper-elite7385 Got till October to make mind up, feel more confident about a purchase now, was a tad concerned after watching your vid.. Would be. 177 BTW..
Yes, too many working parts until it gets to the quattro trigger, adding more possible issues. Kral and Reximex seem to have a better system when it comes to the linkage setup.
Maybe the bolt assembly is not getting pulled back far enough due to wear in the side lever mechanism
I have now stripped the whole rifle and rebuilt it. It is now shooting how it should. I am posting another video on Sunday.

Those triggers are horrible, dangerous unless you set hard trigger pull, just have to get used to it
