Super bluesy
Hard to believe I booked him in a little dive bar in Greeneville, TN less than 4 or 5 years ago when he was with the Jompson Brothers and now he's big time. I started listening to Chris when he played with the Steeldrivers Bluegrass band, always knew his voice was something special. He's a good guy, he would always take the time to talk to you

My girlfriend passed away during the pandemic and the sing "Broken Halos" did really resonate with me ever since. It just helped me, believing that she is needed somewhere else. She already saved my soul.
I am not a religious man, but sometimes things like these can give you a lot of strenght and I admire it within everyone who does believe. It is the kind of song that makes me burst into tears, but somehow still feel better afterwards. I don't know if that makes any sense.
