These were wrapped to the insane level. :D Each bowl: filled with paper, in a bag, wrapped with a crazy amount of paper, in another bag. All in a large carry on with the sides stuffed with more paper. :D
That full set of dishes is so gorgeous but with how nervous I am I would worry about the finish wearing off or the gold going away over time. That’s just me lol. But they are gorgeous!
Definitely a fear! That is why they'll be stored with felt and hand washed with microfiber ONLY.

Put felt between the plates and bowls to protect the gold finish. Also your frying pans. It really protects your finishes. I’ve been to enough yard sales to see the scuffed metallic plates and bowls. Sad. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
These will ALWAYS have felt. I even bought special lined containers for everything. :D

I absolutely love this dinnerware, Dumbledore would be my preferred guest, and even though I love him Neville is not going near it! We know he's broken Trelawney's mugs before.

It’s nice that they make Harry Potter merch for all ages! It just proves that love for the Wizarding World has no age limit.
Also, I would definitely invite Dumbledore and Hagrid, but Hagrid may need his own special large set of dinnerware.

I was lucky enough to buy the Johnson Bros. china with Hogwarts Castle on the plates in the early 2000's. Never thought I'd see dinnerware I liked as much, until this set. These are beautiful Peter! Can't wait to see your magical dinner table set for the feast!
Now Peter - we need to see a full table set up for a dinner party - HP themed of course!
I hope at your dinner party you ask people to dress up as characters from the movies and serve food from the movies. They have a few cookbooks out there that have lots of recipes in them. The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook actually seems to have the recipe from the book and not the movie. So, no pink icing although I really love the pink cake with the misspelled words on it a lot. That would be quite a fun party and would make for a fun video too getting ready for it and seeing it all laid out.
If I had a dinner party and could invite any character I would, of course, invite Harry, Ron and Hermione. I've tried to put together a nice list but it's so much harder than I initially thought. Dumbledore goes without saying. McGonagall too. Sirius, Lupin, Tonks, Mad Eye, all the Weasley bunch plus the spouses I've not already named.
I wouldn't let Mundungus Fletcher anywhere near my fragical dinnerware items or next thing I know he'd be trying to sell them somewhere on Knockturn Alley or maybe the Hog's Head.
This was a fun haul to watch for sure. Thank you for sharing!

Your timing is perfect! My husband and I are headed to Orlando this month for the first time since 2015 for him and 2019 for me.
(You probably don't remember, since I'm sure you meet fans on every trip, but my friend and I ran into you and your friend in November 2019. I had actually just met you at LeakyCon, and you either actually remembered me or had the grace to pretend to remember. My friend was grieving their partner who had just passed away, and you were so kind and sympathetic. I tell everyone that you're just as nice in person as you are in your videos).
Anyway, I try to have a wish list before I visit theme parks so I don't go too wild. The one thing on my list is actually Disney--the rose gold Minnie Mouse Loungefly bag. So I'm gonna hit up Disney Springs to buy that.
But I've been wanting to research the best Harry Potter merch so I can have things in mind. Your tip about the collectible wands is so helpful because I've wanted Seraphina Picquery's wand for awhile. (I tried to get it during your sale).
I'm tempted by that zip-up hoodie. I tend to wear my two zip-up hoodies more often than any of my pullover hoodies. I would also love that Hogwarts tray, but my husband thinks I own too many trays, so we'll see if I can convince him! A single Hogwarts plate would be nice to add to my fine china collection. I inherited china from both of my grandmothers. One set is mismatched white, gold, and other colors. The other set is white, gold, and pink. So a Hogwarts plate would match!

Dinner guests: I must remember to invite Lupin and Sirius, and the Weasley twins. I should then ask Professors McGonagall and Dumbledore. The first four would playfully irritate Prof M and Dumbledore would be amused by it. Hagrid and Madame Pomfrey (to nurse a hand should it be stabbed accidentally). Oh that reminds me! Must send an owl to Professor Flitwick. Of course can't forget Harry and Ginny nor Ron and Hermione. Young love. *sigh* Molly and Arthur Weasley can't be forgotten ♥️. Invitations for Nevile and Luna, Tonks...hmm. Perhaps more dishes 🤔.
Yes I would buy the set. I have been filling out a set of dishes (alas non-Wizarding World related). You get the plates, platers, bowls, dessert/salad plates, coffee cups and glasses but then you want a couple of serving bowls for veggies or potatoes or such. It took over a year to find a gravy boat.
Oh! Some of my cups and glasses from years ago lost their pictures and shine to metal silverware and dishwasher. Live and expensively learn!
Having the Weasley family over would be super nice plus Molly could keep the boys in line lol as for someone I would not invite probably the malfoys they would just compare that their dinnerware is a lot better than mine haha

Dinner party guest, probably Luna, sheʻs so sweet and polite without being stuffy. A no-go for me would be Dobby. I think heʻd be so stressed by the experience heʻd break a plate

I’m not a collector, I just like the stories but I do have four bits of memorabilia. We have friends that had a book shop but it was inside another shop that closed early so they weren’t able to do the last book party on the night at midnight, so we held it in our shop.
We had boxes and boxes of books that I wasn’t allowed to open until midnight, it was torture.
It was so much fun, we had people just pulling up in their cars to buy the book, and as a gift they gave me a Bloomsbury poster, two banners and a huge oval card picture with the uk cover of The Deathly Hallows on it, all items that were used in bookshops to advertise the last book. Let me know if you’d like to see pictures of them.
What a classy set! At my Hogwarts dinner parties I use regular gold dishes and platters with the official hogs head pitcher. I want it to feel like Hogwarts and Hogwarts didn't have HP merch. Can't wait to see your HP table though!
Same with my room that is "Ron's side of the Gryffindor dorm room". I don't have any HP "stuff" in there, it just looks like you've stepped into the dormitory.

Okay, I've passed on these dinnerware twice now at the London studio tour. The Forbidden Forest shop is mid tour and the tour implements a one way system so I didn't want to risk it. Seeing your haul is making my regret shoot through the roof right now :D

Nice haul, love to go to the Harry Potter world in Florida. Do you also have the collection from the bradford exchange for the Harry Potter village? I started collecting but stopped after a while. They are really cute. Thanks for the video. Loved your video on the hogwarts legacy game and your reactions. I play open world games, and i think it is going to be play at your own pace, most of the games i have you can explore on your own, or play the story line or both. Although playing the story line does level you up faster, and reward more. I am excited for it to be released too. :)
