Great video Nath. First time I've heard of them. Currently running makita 18v as mostly small gardens. Been looking at stihl for when i need to replace. I'll check out Pellenc. Cheers. Andy
Is that all in with battery etc? It is expensive, hedge trimmer I looked at it as possibly twice the price of the stihl hla66 that I currently use and generally get a year out of them before they die so wondering if the cost would reflect how long they last 🤔 thanks for watching 👍
Hi Nathan I’m really impressed with this pole saw it looks very good with a nice clean cut I’d never heard of this brand but will look into them and their products Thank you for making this I’ll be looking into etesia mowers this year too Have a great week ahead mate
I'm all for battery equipment, so much nicer to use. Cool to see some Pellenc stuff for a change... Does seem quite overlooked. I was actually looking at that mower in a local dealer a few months back, it is pricey but seems very good.
First I've heard of the brand, however it seems fantastic. Battery is the way forward for the hand held stuff I think. I will make the jump when I can afford it. I'm also sunburnt but mines from welding 😂. Great video Nathan.
Ive used the old pellenc stuff around 5 years ago and the strimmer would stop working because it get to hot, (no air could get to it) hopefully they've sorted that, but i agree electric tools are coming fast
The motors definitely need some air getting, cheers for the info👍 something to check out before investing. For good or bad they are in full swing now, I do like the lightness of the battery gear. Cheers for watching 👍
It's tidy from my first check over and use, nothing plastic or bendy on it😅 dropping a couple of apple trees this week so may use this for the smaller bits to keep my feet on the ground 🤞 hope things are well with you mate👍
I like it battery gear is great 👍 for cutting and strimming and a good blower…. But am not to sure about a battery mower nath 🤔 that will be interesting to see then I’ll make my mind up about them 🤔 cheers .
I'm the same, mowers run hours every day and I'm not sure I'd want to replace the ease of a petrol mower. Handy for early starts or noise sensitive areas tho. Thanks for watching 👍
We use a lot of battery gear on Commercial jobs, like blocks of flats and retirement complexes, always get asked about it, everyone is very interested.
The future of grounds maintenance for sure, I've seen this pellenc stuff on some other sites, And another utube channel Hard graft garden services. It's amazing how battery has come on. Well it has been for some years now. But now I don't know how people can still say it's not good enough. Except for the prices. I should leave the sunbeds to the women. They are harmful to your skin too. Thanks for sharing 😊👍
Genius you know battery's need to store and conduct electricity, cobalt, lithium silver ect. You know the mines are closing due to suppression of prices. You know that there is a billion Oz a year short fall on silver the earths number one conductor and is set to be the first extinct element on the periodic table by 2030, Mexico where it all comes from.claim to be out by 2026, we cannot go green. These new solar panels alone prove that. Quite frankly the power fossil fuel gives is better. As for carbon emission, your means to be a gardener there is a shortage of carbon not an excess. The plants need it to breath.
The sunbed was a daft choice 🤣 the battery gear meets the petrol for the right application in my opinion 👍 prices are higher than petrol kit but you'll pay for using them down the line.
Watching any of my battery gear vids or read the comments and I've always said that I don't believe battery has the green credentials but it's better for the end user than a petrol machine. Cheers
Great video as always Nath! We run a few bits of pellenc kit well worth the money in my opinion. Think yours is a few years older. We've got more up to date batteries etc... the brush cutter is a beast see if you can get a shot of one! Small video on my channel of it.
When I worked with the council we got the twin deck lawnmower a few years ago. It was really good but not fit for council use. Also you know it's good when it's done by Etesia. Would love to get one for my Business but abit to dear the now
Yea I wouldn't think it would be for general council use to be fair, I'm hopefully adding a few bits this year and seeing how it goes. Thanks for watching 👍
To back up your points you made from switching from 2 stroke to battery, customer of over 30 years out of the blue asked if we would change from 2 stroke to battery operated. as she feels its better for the environment!
I can see it slowly becoming part of the process as to which contractor gets the work. Unfortunately battery doesn't cut it for every job yet in my opinion but I'll always want to use one over petrol. Cheers for watching 👍
Looks pretty good mate, im still not a fan of backpack batteries and cords though. I also dont like automatic chain tensioners on chainsaws either, a big no no for pros in my opinion. Interested to see how that battery mower performs. 👍
Never seen an automatic tensioner before so will see how it goes. I'm used to the battery backpack and wouldn't go back to petrol strimmer for most jobs now. Thanks for watching mate 👍
Some clean cuts there! I bet it feels nice without holding holding it in the air without all the added weight? I gotta get myself some of those gloves, they look really warm 😂
Some of there gear actually looks pretty good, be interested to see how the mower gets on. I have used the HEL20A thats pretty good also, i dont know much about the battery life though! be good to find out. Hope your well mate. 👍
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd Yeah mate im well, looking forward to getting back at it. Hopefully should have some good content coming over the next month or so.
Hi Nathan, great video, that looks like the Rolls Royce of battery gear, very Impressive, how much are we looking at for the saw, battery and charger ?
Cheers and thanks for watching 👍 couple of grand but once you've got the battery the bare units are accessible, pellenc have reduced items available at times. 👍👍
They have been around since at least the 70's. I've used their equipment on projects in Spain and it's well known there but never really got a foothold in UK. Obviously it's a French company ,very expensive and not much support in UK personally I like them but British always just use what they see on TV.😂😂
I'm guessing you'd have to search them out rather pick up at your local store or usual online places but they are definitely quality kit👌 hopefully the cost and quality will mean not too much support is needed. Thanks for watching 👍
Does look a great bit of kit and well designed. But it's a no from me! 2stroke for me as long as fuel is available far more versatile and robust in my opinion. They're easy to rebuild and repair. I've got enough machines already rebuild to last me another 40yrs of work easily and probably 3 or 4 employees 🤞👍
Good for you 👍 personally I'd have had to change my career if I hadn't made the switch to battery to take the strain off the body from continued use. Cheers mate💪
The best l've got to battery power is the stihl gta 26. Obviously l'm behind the times, give it a few years we all be using hand tools again. While our clients drive their electric 4X4 ' to pick the kids up,then go to Maccy D,s. Come home plug it in its magic!! Where does electricity come from? I don't think us gardeners are causing as much pollution don't listen, its rubbish.
I'm sceptical about the green credentials of most battery tools and cars etc. The grounds maintenance gear is better for the end use tho I'm sure. We'll see in what direction everything goes sooner than we think I recon😬 thanks for watching 👍
Come on, we all know battery doesn't have the power and is noooo good 😏🤣. Impressive performance and the chain tensioner is a nice touch. Nice one mate 🔋 💚👍

Although battery mowers? I just don't think the battery technology is quite there yet to make they commercially viable.
