I got kicked in the face by a Converse sneaker from someone crowd surfing at an INXS show in 1997. BUT it got me invited onstage by Michael Hutchence. I started crying and he came over to me. I was onstage for the encore and he laid down and put his head in my lap. I still remember how soft his hair was. They are my fave band of all time!! And please film the evp session!
Katie, you are too amazing to deal with another wishy-washy man, you already married one and look how that worked out. Don’t waste your time on these kind of people. There are some really amazing people out there and when you don’t give any of your energy to that type of energy, it leaves open a lot of room for good energy to find its way to you ❤

When I first started tending bar... 18 years ago lmao I had a lot of influence on the music being played and I would put Nickelback on all the time, every shift, and people would get super pissed. I still did it religiously I just kept it my little secret haha

Oof, I get wanting to smoke indoors, the nostalgia and shit but once the shift happens and smoking no longer makes sense, it's a gift to not want to smoke anymore. Once I stopped drinking, that helped too. It's like reprogramming the brain.

I got lucky, I’m celebrating my 25th anniversary in October and we are still going strong, we have a special needs child, it brought us closer and made us a team, and we worked hard during the hard times to work on marriage, but I got really lucky, he’s a great man and there are not a lot of men like him!
But I agree it’s not for everyone, I respect all choices, I wish more girls would listen to you!!

Another thought, there are so many paths to parenthood. Birthing a child is just one path, that people put so much focus on, but there are so many other ways to be a parent/ parental figure.
He can get it. And I love talking about how cute humans are... when we are happy, we show our teeth to each other. I'll never be the same. 💖 And SATC is totally a documentary, love that show. We are women and we can design our lives however the f*ck we want!

You guys actually do not understand how helpful this podcast has already been for me! Being a young women in this society of rotten men, I often times find blame in myself. From unhealthy attachment issues to attempting to fulfill societal norms, you guys have helped me reclaim my peace.
