What Ginnifer Goodwin Told Husband Josh Dallas After Taking ‘Why Women Kill’ Role

- Ginnifer Goodwin and Sam Jaeger are starring in the new Marc Cherry project “Why Women Kill.” The show takes place in one house, but follows three different women in three different decades.
Ginnifer revealed she hasn’t let her husband Josh Dallas read any of the scripts. She explained, “I went in to meet with Marc Cherry in February… and he walked me through my entire storyline, scene by scene, for 10 episodes, and at the end I said, ‘I’ll take it.’ I went home and my husband said, ‘How did it go?’ and I said, ‘You have to watch it - that’s all I’m going to say. I will tell you nothing for the next five months.’”
Josh and everyone else can tune in August 15 on CBS All Access.

I didn’t find this amazing series until I started seeing shorts on RUclips. Just Gold! I watched the whole series after.

@@kimberly.celestine they weren’t someone just made that up. Ginny and josh both explained it several times that they just got back a few months after calling of her engagement and josh‘s divorce.

I Love how she turns to her co worker and answers questions when glancing at him. You can tell they respect each other and opinions. They look at each other….i love it.
I loved their story line the best. I love Sam Jaeger, he's an incredible actor & my favorite on the show. I also went to school with his wife, Amber, from 4th grade to our senior year. She was always very sweet despite being so popular & pretty. She was friends with everyone from all groups. Just discovered this is her husband a couple years ago which makes me love him even more.
Sam Jaeger is probably a great actor because im sitting here after the finale watching him do this interview and NOT TRUSTING HIM ONE BIT

We need more from Marc Cherry. I've watched both seasons twice & kept finding things I missed.

The reason I preferred the other two timelines was because I like old timey eras, like the 50s and the 80s. The modern era timeline was okay, but just didn’t grab me as much as the other two.

Also, this is why Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Dallas are great partners.
Because both of them had good role models for parents
Teaching them the values of marriage and to take marriage seriously and not just for show.
That is why they work.
Sadly not that many people take it serious.
I have good husband now because I took Ginnifer guidance.
I followed what she did with Josh and I put rules with my husband or I said I would leave.
Men need to show women respect or they will walk all over us. And we have a right to walk away and leave and we can find a better man.
We always have to set up boundaries first.

it's always good to hear actors appreciate writers' & directors' specificness of vision. i was always afraid that people would find it tyrannical when i tried to elicit something that most people wouldn't understand until we had well delivered it.

I don't know what I expected from Why Women Kill, but it was truly something unique & captivating. Everybody's storylines had me captivated for different reasons. I was hate watching a certain couple's storyline but the tables turned so quick that I was then on a bit on the character's side lmao. HIGH recommend. I wish this show was coming out with new seasons 😭
Also, the theme song & animation with it was a PERFECT choice!!
