I was so excited watching your video that I stopped breathing a couple times. I mean, I was concentrating so hard on the famous roads and sites I have only ever seen on Zwift! And then, when I thought I was finally getting myself under control, THERE CAME THE SHEEP! 🐑🐑🐑 Joy of joys! Thanks so much for taking us with you on such a glorious adventure. 😘😘😘

Many thanks for taking us along on this adventure! If you ever get back to the U.S., the Markleeville Death Ride (a.k.a. Tour of the California Alps) should be right up your alley!

LOVED this!!!!! This is definitely on my to do list. The roads look so smooth and that mountain is so iconic! You gave me a mini heart attack on the 1st descent though, I thought you’d sssssstacked it!!!! Great video, well done, what a ride! ❤❤❤

Brilliant Katie! I was last there in 2015 and your video reminds me of a great days cycling. Like you, we set off in the dark because the temperatures were forcast to be 38C, and they were! I've done another Ventoux where the temperature in the towns was 20C but there was snow on the top and bloody freezing!

I been off the bike for 9wks now with sciatica and know for a fact when I get back I am going to appreciate every pedal stroke and view even more.

    The vieews!!
    Heart-wrenching, otherworldly almost.
And you cooked Mr. Ventoux on all sides, continuously one after the other; that speaks volumes as to how strong a cyclist you've become.
We're all very really proud of you Katie!
We appreciate you showing the whole endeavour to us, it almost felt like a gentle caress to all of us supporters.
Enjoy the evening together with your friends and then make a safe comeback home.
We are going to be there for you

Thank you. Did I miss the footage of the stop at the Tom Simpson memorial? I cycled the three climbs in 2019 and I was totally unprepared but it was do-able and enjoyable even for an old knacker. I was aged 59 back then. For anyone thinking about it... just do it.

What a great watch! I’ve signed up to the Cingles for this summer having done Bedoin to top two years ago and then Bedoin Summit down to Malaucene and upon again last year. Was going for the unofficial three but started too late in the morning really and left the Sault climb. It was HOT! 29C at the summit and hotter below on the climbs. Chapeau to you for this successful ride! Love your love of just cycling! Can’t wait to be there again.

You are such a happy person! At least on most of your ride videos, anyway. Especially when there are sheep. :D This looked like a wonderful ride - I love, love, love mountains and descents.
Been binging your channel the past few days, as I am stuck at home with COVID and can’t go ride (or go to work, or get groceries, etc). Truly enjoying all of your content. Thanks!

When your Go Pro took an alternate route I thought you had crashed...ascents hurt, but descents are painful. The cold always gets me worse, that and the thought of crashing at 60 kph.
Thanks for sharing. You got your climbing, you got your views, and you got your SHEEPIES!

Brilliant - well done Katie! I did this last week, starting Bedoin, then Malaucene then Sault, but only saw sheepies on the Sault climb. For me the hardest part was the 3rd climb from Chalet Reynard up to the top. I'll have to try that Great Dun Fell now to see how it compares!

Fun to watch your climbs. I climbed from Bedouin at dawn about the same time or year. Cool morning but sun was out and it warmed up for the descent . Ran into the sheep farmers as you did. Great fun. The French have turned that hill into an industry. The riding teams had sprayed the road with team names and taunts. Great fun.

Oh I love your enthusiasm 😊 Well first of all I was participating in a charity event so ofcourse I was asked to return next year. But also I heard about this triple challenge. I am not as far as you are, once was far beyond my limit. But afterwards I really felt I needed a new challenge, just something to train towards. And then there is winter coming. And i do need the exercise (middle age streamline fysique here). But i do have a few friends. One goes to France every year with his son to ride a lot so i might want that.. and now i ran into a guy at a barbecue who has the Stelvio on his bucketlist. I am meeting up with him today actually, this might just be a viable option. And when were there, we'll probably take a few more in the area.
