Weapons made of angelic steel can kill human soul in hell permanently, same for the higher demon demon who can only be killed that way. Also detail on the extermination, they only happen in the pride ring where sinners souls are confined, hellborn demon can move to others ring and are supposed to be spared from extermination (spoiler Adam and the exorsist don't care and kill anything on sight)
