This movie is very frustrating to watch.
1. When the FL was confronting the evil couple, the Emperor was "determined" not to get involved to let the FL shine, but he ended up interfering anyways. If only he made this judgement call 5 minutes earlier, could have saved FL's mom and the loyal couple. I forgot to mention, the emperor saves her here.
2. Just behead the evil duo who massacred an army? 😅
3. The FL is assigned an undercover mission. The enemy asks her to swallow a pill. She was an army general who didn't know how to fiegn taking the pill, she actually swallowed it and got poisoned 😂 How stupid can you be? Again, emperor arrives just on time to save the damsel who was beaten , stabbed and trampled on by the bad guy.
4. She tries to reform the lives of the rescued prostitutes. They stil end up walking on fire and all the sufferings needed before they get thier dowry. Um...what exactly is the role of the "strong" FL? Um...they clearly told her it was thier family rule, not the country law. Can you imagine how hilarious it is to follow the family law when the rescued woman wasn't even married in? Because of the FL, she suffered more. AGAIN, the emperor comes to the rescue 😅😅😅😅🛟
If your definition of a strong woman is knowing martial arts, then this is an okay movie for you. Otherwise, please save yourselves of this stupidity. 😅
The emperor just watching people killed in front of his eyes just for the sake of "disguise"???? What interesting character 😂😂😂😂
