You have helped me so much, too much. Loved them all! I've been looking at a couple of those styles but couldn't make up my mind on color. My favorite, I think, is Moonstone. A couple of others were right up there with it. It's hard for me to tell the color by a photo, and the photos of the hair styles are not always a good thing. You ladies help so much by modeling these styles and showing us what can be achieved. Thank you so much for putting up these videos. They really do help us out. I tried to keep my picks with styles that have lower density. My hairstylist moved away; I thought I'd let my hair grow out, but I really do love wearing wigs that I really don't see the point. Hi Marlene, thoroughly enjoyed this wig review on all of these wigs. I have been watching wig reviews for such along time and I have been very hestitate on making my mind up which wig to buy as it will be my first and I would like it to be a good experience because it could be a deal breaker for me to be opened to my wig journey. I think I might try either Lea 11 or Portrait mode because they are heat friendly. I do see alot of synthetic wigs I like but to hesitate to try them because of the shine even though reviews say to use dry shampoo. Have you done a review on synthetic wigs were you show synthetic wigs out of the box and when they have been shampooed a few time? Regards Rhonda.

The shine on regular synthetic fibers is due to a few reasons; one is the lighter the color, the more light it will reflect. The other reason is that manufacturers apply silicone to the fibers prior to boxing in order to protect the fibers during shipping. The dry shampoo helps with the light reflection and washing in cool water with a tablespoon of baking soda helps remove the silicone. However, heat friendly fibers undergo a different process therefore they don't reflect as much light and don't have the silicone added so they don't appear shiny. Lia II and Portrait Mode do not have the shine; I have yet to wash either one of these wigs and haven't added any dry shampoo. I try to wait until the wigs are really in need of a wash before I do since less is more when it comes to washing wigs. I have many wigs that I unbox on my channel and I have also shown wigs that I've had for a while and have been washed many times. I just don't have one video where I show both. I believe in my video where I unbox Gisele, I compared it to my old one which has been washed many times as it's a much older wig. I hope this helps. xoxo Marlene

Hi Patricia, I don't feel a difference between the two, but it could be due to not being sensitive to heat (I'm usually cold). However, I have seen members in groups pose this question; some say weft are cooler but many say hand-tied. I would think the weft caps are cooler since these caps allow some air flow. I think the density and permatease will have an effect on the hot/cool factor more so than the cap construction. If a wig has a lot of permatease and high density, it'll be more uncomfortable than a light density and minimal permatease. Even though I'm usually cold, I have found my head to sweat if my wigs have too much of either. xoxo Marlene

Hi Marlene, I’m not smart enough to figure out how to choose a BT Lux color to BT City and Cafe Collection. Can you tell me the colors closest to: Shaken Oatmilk-R Sunkissed Almond
Hi Teresa, don't be too hard on yourself. Colors are not easily matched from one collection to the next. In the Cafe collection, Butterbeer Blonde is perhaps the closest to Shaken Oatmilk but there's none close to it in the City Collection; Crushed Almond blonde is lighter and Raw Sugar Blonde is a bit warmer blended with light brown and pale blonde. For Sunkissed Almond, there's nothing close in the Cafe Collection; in the City Collection, Caramel Blonde R will be similar to Sunkissed but lighter. During the summer of 2021, I was going to PT 3x per week and could barely walk up a flight of stairs. 250 pounds on my 5'4" was just too much weight for me💜💜💜

Hi Maxine, thank you for visiting! I apologize. I explain it in some videos but not in all. Permatease is a back tease to provide lift. Some wigs have a lot, some have just a bit, and some have none. Some wearers love permatease because they prefer big hair so to speak while others prefer none due to their preference of a sleek style. Permatease is also used to help the style maintain its form. Density refers to the amount of hair. Like permatease, density is also a matter of preference. Some wearers prefer lots of hair (high density) while others prefer low density (not a lot of hair). For the most part, many wigs have average density (not too much and not too little). As we go through our wig journey and try various styles, we're able to determine how much or how little permatease or density we prefer. It's all a matter of preference. I have short, but a lot of salt and pepper hair with a low nape and a low forehead and sideburns that I cannot keep from showing when I wear a wig. I cannot tuck my sideburns behind my ears and wig caps and wig grips. Don’t seem to help. Do you have any suggestions, thank you

Blonde has an anti aging effect. You look really youthful in blonde. I'm leaning toward styles with more blonde in them. Get compliments. More attention from men...lol.
My favourite of all these styles (on you) is the HM Mane Attraction Regal, it sits beautifully on you and is the best length. The colour is lovely too. I’m in Aus and don’t purchase from America any more (shipping kills it now) and nobody stocks Mane Attraction line here 🥲 which for me is a huge shame.

Hi Patricia, I don't feel a difference between the two, but it could be due to not being sensitive to heat (I'm usually cold). However, I have seen members in groups pose this question; some say weft are cooler but many say hand-tied. I would think the weft caps are cooler since these caps allow some air flow. I think the density and permatease will have an effect on the hot/cool factor more so than the cap construction. If a wig has a lot of permatease and high density, it'll be more uncomfortable than a light density and minimal permatease. Even though I'm usually cold, I have found my head to sweat if my wigs have too much of either. xoxo Marlene

TressAllure: 38/51/60, 60R, and 1001; Jon Renau: Oyster (56/51), Winter Sun (60), Baked ALaska (59) and 601; In Amore, Noriko, Rene of Paris and Orchid there's Silver Mink and 60; In Gabor: GF56/60, GF56/1001, GL56/60. Hi Teresa, don't be too hard on yourself. Colors are not easily matched from one collection to the next. In the Cafe collection, Butterbeer Blonde is perhaps the closest to Shaken Oatmilk but there's none close to it in the City Collection; Crushed Almond blonde is lighter and Raw Sugar Blonde is a bit warmer blended with light brown and pale blonde. For Sunkissed Almond, there's nothing close in the Cafe Collection; in the City Collection, Caramel Blonde R will be similar to Sunkissed but lighter. It makes me cringe every time I have to go back to any of those videos. I feel so much better now. No more knee pains and I'm actually able to walk 5 miles/day. During the summer of 2021, I was going to PT 3x per week and could barely walk up a flight of stairs. 250 pounds on my 5'4" was just too much weight for me💜💜💜

Hi Maxine, thank you for visiting! I apologize. I explain it in some videos but not in all. Permatease is a back tease to provide lift. Some wigs have a lot, some have just a bit, and some have none. Some wearers love permatease because they prefer big hair so to speak while others prefer none due to their preference of a sleek style. Permatease is also used to help the style maintain its form. Density refers to the amount of hair. Like permatease, density is also a matter of preference. Some wearers prefer lots of hair (high density) while others prefer low density (not a lot of hair). For the most part, many wigs have average density (not too much and not too little). As we go through our wig journey and try various styles, we're able to determine how much or how little permatease or density we prefer. It's all a matter of preference. I wear wigs for lots of reasons: I truly dislike sitting in a salon, I like to change my style and hair color depending on my mood & clothes; I don't wear the same shoes, jewelry or clothes every day and like to do the same with wigs. To me, I see wigs as an accessory that are fun to wear. I love having long dark hair one day and short & sassy grey the next. It's just a personal preference. xoxo Marlene

I have short, but a lot of salt and pepper hair with a low nape and a low forehead and sideburns that I cannot keep from showing when I wear a wig. I cannot tuck my sideburns behind my ears and wig caps and wig grips. Don’t seem to help. Do you have any suggestions, thank you
Hi Marylou, thank you so much for stopping by. My hair is salt and pepper and I have lots. I wear a wig cap, wig grip, and use root powder (Clairol or Wow I purchase at Ulta). I match my sideburns to the color or root of the wig with the root powder. This way if my sideburns show, it doesn't really matter. I hope this helps xoxo Marlene

My favourite of all these styles (on you) is the HM Mane Attraction Regal, it sits beautifully on you and is the best length. The colour is lovely too. I’m in Aus and don’t purchase from America any more (shipping kills it now) and nobody stocks Mane Attraction line here 🥲 which for me is a huge shame.
