I haven't seen a Force outboard in many years, but it's no surprise it isn't running. When I was in the Coast Guard in the early 90's we always called them job security. They were that bad.
My old coworkers black lab "Marley" loved the water and riding on his owners Kawi 650 SX stand up. Usually he would ride in the tray in front, but there were a couple of times Marley ran out as his master was trying to make his escape. He would leap from the jetty and jump on his masters back knocking them both in the water, funny as hell to watch.

Very few people in these videos seem to understand that you can snub a line on the dock cleats and poles instead of holding on for dear life while the boat tries to pull you in the water.
With a bit of practice they could even throw a loop over the cleat and not even leave the boat. I kept my bow line cleated further back so the craft was pulled in flatter to the dock, I also had a pair of lines each side coiled and stowed nicely out of the way, no trip hazards.
In Australia, I just back my trailer down to the front of boat, hook winch strap up and winch boat up on trailer. I find it very quick and easy for a half cab on my own. Some people here drive on, but plenty do it like me to. My question is, does everyone in America drive there boat on. I also see that alot of people there dont pull there boat right up to front of trailer, and dont seem to have enough weight on towball. Its funny to see the differences from one country to the next. I was going to get a qick release latch for front of boat, so I could just drive it up trailer and it hooks on front, but it is just so quick and easy to winch it up I didnt worry. Especially on my own, I can back trailer down, and winch it up without having to get back on boat.
Massachusetts, USA here. I winch my boat on too. Takes no more than 30 seconds. Not many people just drive on here. Most winch but some powerload, which ends up destroying the ramp (and their props).

I know the used boat market is hot right now, but you would have to pay me to take a used boat out of Florida. The only thing missing is people taking baseball bats to their own boats.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the silver F-250 that was spinning tires a 4x4 truck?! Why not just engage the 4 wheel drive?! It's literally a flip of a switch.
I can never understand why the driver of a 4X4 pickup doesn't use the 4 wheel drive when the rear wheels lack the traction to pull boat up the ramp. ...unless of course, the truck is not 4 wheel drive and the owner just added stickers to look cool.
Unbelievable the amount of incompetence and lack of common sense. I grew up in Miami and my dad would launch our boat at this very ramp when I was growing up. This was from the late 1970's to the early 1990's. It was never this bad. Well I'm 47 now and still a boater (life long) and 20 years ago I made the decision to work harder so I can live on the water because I didn't want to waste boating time hooking up at home, towing to the ramp, launching, etc. Now seeing how the south Florida ramps are I am so happy I do not have to deal with ramps. Wow....what a cluster fuck!. And it gets worse the further south in Miami you go. I prep my boat the night before which is docked out back and we stroll down to the dock after breakfast (or lunch) and hit the water. No stress. It's expensive but worth it.
I never tie off in front of the ramp. You drop a person off. An they get the trailer. Then back out an wait in open water. Once the trailer is in the water. You pull on the trailer an get pulled out. Do your loading an unloading in the parking lot. Not at the ramp. We can retrieve a 30ft center console in less than 5 minutes.
