sir i tried to design my own format on google sheet and as per your video i connect the google form from spreadsheet and the download the add on formpublisher. but facing an issue & issue is that the aftersubmitting the google form it is not taking up vlookup formula. i checked the formula is ok. Hi,
As you're saying that the invoice number is unique, so you cannot add it as question into Google Forms. For this, you'll need to manually add a column into Google Sheets. Then you can either manually add the invoice number for each entry or use formula as required.
Once done, you can use that variable in Form Publisher to add invoice number.
Will it be possible for the form to allow users to click/select more than 1 product on a checkbox? to avoid having a long form if i have about 30 products to choose from

We are having different customer and they want invoice according to them , I mean we have to create invoice in multiple templates is there any way to to create such type of excel sheet so that we can create invoice in different different templates.

Hi Ujjwal, Although it is recommended to follow a common template, you can create 3,4 diff. templates based upon customer choices and diff forms connected to them.
Implement Form publisher in all these Forms. Fill the Form and automatically invoice gets generated and emailed to client. Using Import-range formula, all data of diff.-2 sheets can be collated to a single sheet.

hi, what if we have around 40 products? can we just create a multiple choice grid with item name as rows and quantity required as columns? then how do we get it in the format, for only selected items to be shown as the result with the calculated price.

It literally took me 18 times through to find the error I was having. Jump to about the 10 minuter mark. Instead of selecting just the Invoice tab select the entire document. Then it will be able to pull the price from Sheet 2.

I have google sheet to generate invoice. However if product 1 is 10 qty, Product 2 is Nil qty & Product 3 is 12 qty. Can write formula to generate so that product 2 will not appear and on that row product 3 will appear so that invoice will show only 2 rows instead of 3 rows with row no. is blank?

How many items we can add?
Could the answers of that form be linked to 2 other documents, like an invoice and a product sheet, let say for manufacturing, where we just need the specs but not the prices?

Is it possible to use vlookup when you have the same product but with different prices when using Google form and Google sheets why creating automatic invoice?
You can use INDEX-MATCH combination for that. If you want to use VLOOKUP, you'll have to create a new column and assign a unique ID to these products. Having same product with different pricing would indicate there is some form of difference in them; they'll either have different model numbers or some form of serial number. Use that in VLOOKUP.
How to add if I have 50 products in quotation
Hi Munigonda,
It’s easy. Add 50 items in Item Master sheet where price and product is mentioned.
Add these items in Google form drop down. And implement the same way and it gets automated 👍
You can use Form Ranger Addon to update Google form drop down from a column in google sheet automatically 👍
