doctor how to know which type of polishing or finishing instrument we need to use?

It depends on the surface you need to finish and the amount of excess. This video will help: ruclips.net/video/udAv_6uqXqg/видео.html
      In general, most commonly used:
Facial surface: finishing discs, needle diamond point.
Proximal surface: needle diamond point, finishing strips, discs.
Palatal surface: football diamond, ball diamond, finishing discs.
However, sometimes other tools may be used. Here I used the most common tools available.
