It's really obvious. Kyungsoo get energized thru people, that's why he travels a lot, visit restaurants a lot, socialize with other people a lot. There, outside in the world. I am kinda starting to believe that Kyungsoo is an extrovert. He's just really different when cameras are around. He himself and his friends have talked about how he adopts this persona when he spots a camera lol. If he wasn't an extrovert, he wouldn't have had so many celebrity friends. I keep getting surprised everytime I see his update on different people's Instagram. And Baekhyun is definitely an introvert. My man hardly leaves his house and plays LoL all the time.
If anyone has looked and analyzed Kyungsoo from the beginning of his career with EXO you can see that he was an extrovert and I still believe he is. However, due to (my belief) the fame (lack of privacy) and being stalked by sasaengs had a lot to do with his change. EXO are famous like the Beatles in the 60s. Kyungsoo did mention quitting EXO but didn’t because of the other members. He’s just a reserved cautious private person with a bit of mystery. If anyone has watched Off the Grid, it further makes you understand him a bit more. You know how nosey “out of whatever the reason” people like to talk more negative than positive, it gives them joy at others discomfort because they’re not happy with themselves. I personally think Kyungsoo is one of us people who are shy and quiet around new people but excited and talkative around familiar people, friends and family. I think he probably adapts himself to some situations as well. For example, he is probably very sociable and jokes around on set because he knows the leads help in making any set exciting and comfortable for other actors and crew. But he probably loves taking some time out on his own to do his own thing. He is probably sometimes quiet as well in situations where he doesn't feel pressure to talk or where there are other people that are more talkative and he is not the centre of attention.
So for anyone who says I Baekhyun and E Kyungsoo is a myth, to put it simply (so that quick to judge people who doesn’t research might understand) Kyungsoo is a very obvious E (Extraversion) because he gets ‘energized by the outer world of people and things’ which is apparent because we all know he likes to travel. Now, nobody is saying Kyungsoo doesn’t like his alone time (which is very important for I personality types) nobody is a perfect E or a perfect I. Baekhyun on the other hand is a homebuddy, an I personality type that stand for Introversion, and people with this personality preference are energized by their inner world. Baekhyun and Kyungsoo themselves _have_ taken their MBTI tests which were respectively ISFP and ENTJ. As OP said, Baekhyun might seem hella loud and energized (a beagle indeed) when he's with EXO members or people he's comfortable with, but he also tires quickly, that's why he uses his "alone-time" to recharge. That's what introverts truly are. On the other hand, extroverts usually gains their energy by being around people and outside of their house, as evidenced by the many times Kyungsoo took vacation trips with his actor friends.

Lool I’ve been a Ksoo stan from their debut and let me tell you, he is in fact an extroverted person. He’s only ever so careful in front of cameras after his lil broadcast slip of tongue happened but he’s always been so confident and playful on stage from day one. He’s literally the only member who reached so far in his acting career and made a bunch of friends of the most famous actors along the way.

i really relate to baekhyun lol. i’m super introverted, i stay home most of the time and rarely go out. but when i’m with friends or even with one friend, i can act like a totally different and extroverted person. i feel like baekhyun is just super comfortable with his friends and is quite confident in himself so he can act like an extrovert when he’s with people he’s close with ❤

I think people are confusing being a good/comfortable idol with being an extrovert. Baek is a great idol, probably the best. He’s comfortable sharing everything with fans and putting himself out there to connect to countless people from around the world. But.. he doesn’t leave the house. He doesn’t meet people in real life. He spends time on his own when he’s not working. But kyungsoo is different. He’s not a good idol in that he disappears for weeks or even months and fans have no clue what he’s up to. He seems awkward when he’s the centre of attention, even now. But when we don’t hear from him, it’s because he’s out there living his life with loads of people in real life. He has a whole bustling social life that we occasionally get a peek into. But yeah i think it’s always been clear who’s the E and who’s the I 🥹

I've somehow thought in the past that when EXO was still rookies, Kyungsoo was an introvert, but he has a lot of friends and gets along well with other people besides his members. It makes sense that he's actually an extrovert. Baekhyun, too, was surprisingly introverted. I really like this kind of friendship. As an introvert, I would really like to have an extroverted friend who understands me and still chooses to be friends with me even though we have different energies.

I am not a big fan of BH but I love the fact that he bring outs Kyungsoo's playful and mischievous side a lot when they are on camera doing any activities. To Kyungsoo, my love, it's amazing to see how much you have grown since your debuted until now. Since you became much more confidence in yourself and start to show some of your real personalities thru many verity shows and your acting and singing, I also started to love and respect you more. Baekhyun just acts as any introverted when they are confortable. I act like that too around my friends and I'm the most introverted one among them so I definitely understand Baekhyun. He is probably not open to say a lot and needs some time alone.
Kyungsoo is just calm but definitely energetic when he is not on camera.

Honestly I love how Kyungsoo can pretty much hit everyone in the group (that annoy him) even though he's technically part of the maknae line, it never gets old remembering that. Also the fact those two had an awkward time getting comfortable with each other in the very beginning of their debut is so funny, truly shows you can be friends with people who are different than you, personality wise.
from what I read based on korean school year system that actually start from March to February, it means in their eyes kyungsoo is the same grade as baekhyung, chanyeol, and jongdae, which explain why kyungsoo didn't call exo's 92 liner with "hyung" (also the reason he (lovingly(?)) hit them the most too lol 😂) and people calling these 4 as "chingu line" hahah

If anyone has looked and analyzed Kyungsoo from the beginning of his career with EXO you can see that he was an extrovert and I still believe he is. However, due to (my belief) the fame (lack of privacy) and being stalked by sasaengs had a lot to do with his change. EXO are famous like the Beatles in the 60s. Kyungsoo did mention quitting EXO but didn’t because of the other members. He’s just a reserved cautious private person with a bit of mystery. If anyone has watched Off the Grid, it further makes you understand him a bit more. You know how nosey “out of whatever the reason” people like to talk more negative than positive, it gives them joy at others discomfort because they’re not happy with themselves. Other than that this video is hysterically funny. Thanks.🌹

I think that's one misconception some people have about introverts and extroverts, just because one is quiet it doesn't automatically mean they're introverts because a lot of the times they tend to be loud but that's also because they're around people they're most comfortable with. then again mtbi's tend to changed too for some people.
