I agree with everything you said apart from he can’t stop the run. If you pay attention, when they run any lateral runs Parsons gets there. Then offenses run right at him but double him, chips him and send multiple blockers his way. If the big uglies isn’t doing their job then he really can’t be as effective as he can be. I think the cowboys issue is the interior guys not being disruptive to let those linebackers, included parsons, be able to make those plays in the run game.
One thing Micah does regardless if he gets a sack or not is he applies pressure and that results in the defense being too 5 for the last 3 years in interception 🤷🏿♂️. The linear narrative just isn’t true. If you’re speak you have to speak on it all.

Micah can get paid after the season, no one knows how much longer Zach is going to play and i dont believe the cowboys are sold on dak being the qb of the future and you cant blame them for that. Make him and Micah play out this season, put a little pressure on both of them and go from there.

I'm kinda agreeing with Slip and Malik here. Don't pay players because they were good a few years ago, make them earn that new contract. Micah should be hungry right now, not knowing if he's gonna get paid big or not. Keep these players hungry, and then give them what they're worth once they earn it. Too many players have a good year, get paid big extensions and get lazy, which creates a cap problem when it's time to re-sign other players who are actually producing.
