    Thanks to you and your wife for showing the good and the not so good of how your harvest turns out! It helps in a big way showing how to be grateful for what is given. God Bless you and your family. 😊

    Brother and sister Humble thank you so much for your prayers regarding my daughter's bad attitude. The smaller potatoes are such a delicious snack and they taste sweeter. I haven't seen any Korean sweet potatoes yet but I will keep looking for them because I want to try them. I know they're delicious. May God continue to bless your gardens. That soil was nice and loose, so I'm going to suppose you were right and there was too much (or not enough) of something in the nutrients. But still, not an entire failure. God gave you something, and anything at all is a blessing. And brother, those cabbages look *amazing*.

    Good job. Even the small ones are edible. So you have 2 or 3 instead of one big one. No biggie. Your soil is beautiful.
    Yes show us your brassica planting. It is all very informative and appreciated.

    Like these harvesting videos, looks like you've had a good sweet potato harvest overall. Please show the brassicas too. Are you going to remove those mycelium clumps? What made them grow like that?

    I discover when the soil is rich the sweet potatoes don't do as well.

    I was thinking how beautiful the dirt is and feel bad for you guys that the yield was small. How do you reverse too much nitrogen? Or, would you plant something different in the bed that needs more nitrogen?

    • @humbleservantshomestead7974
      @humbleservantshomestead7974  2 дня назад +2

      We kinda knew going in that this would probably be the case because this was where we planted garlic. Garlic is a heavy nitrogen feeder and we fed it accordingly. Our initial goal was not to plant sweet potatoes in this area but because we had so many extra slips after planting them out in the bottom garden we decided to take a chance with them here as well. During the season when we saw the massive a mount of vines and foliage we knew there would probably not be many sweet potatoes.

    • @Sparkysings2
      @Sparkysings2 2 дня назад

      @ ok. I understand now. So will you not use this bed for sweet potatoes any longer?

    I wouldn't waste my time with sweet potatoes that small. I can't do much of anything with sweet potatoes that small.

      You can roast or make it into candy snacks with it. I fry it and coat it with syrup.
