I don't mean to obsess over Henry treating his mother (Regina) like garbage, but I like adult Henry much better than kid Henry because the adult version of him actually acknowledges and appreciates that Regina's always been there for him. Even though it would've been nice to see more of Emma and Hook in season 7, I'm glad that the writers focused on Henry/Regina relationship.
Regina did a lot of things wrong, but she did love Henry. Maybe a little obsessively, but deep down she did and nothing wrong with loving a little boy.
@@s.nifrum4580 If I’m being honest I don’t think Henry and Cinderella suit no chemistry whatsoever nothing against the actress I just didn’t see the chemistry
Oh Regina❤if Henry needed you to be safe on physical level and for a fight against bullies or bad guys, he would ask Emma or her husband to stay with him😇no, he needs you because he needs his family😇😇😇
Henry was Regina’s real happy ending. He was what filled the hole in her heart and although her motives weren’t always pure,we came to know that underneath it all,she really and truly loved Henry. This scene proves that Henry really and truly believes and acknowledges that Regina is his REAL mother. We saw prior to this that he had genuine love for her but it wasn’t until this scene that he actually showed just how much she REALLY meant to him. The one that saw her as a villain the most became her biggest supporter. Henry IS her happy ending :)
Because in order for Regina to age they would either have to either use a different actress(that would have been a terrible choice for obvious reasons) or use make-up or special effects to make her look older which would have been very tiring and time-consuming and would have possibly lead on facial expressions getting lost. Anyway, the final product would have been of a lower quality.
azydih v well she’s like 75 by now, but season 7 they are all back in time. From Jared Gilmore’s oldest version of Henry to now, about 10ish years? But to recap, she was about 28 when she cast the curse, was physically paused in time for another 28 years, we continue with her raising Henry from about age 11 to... idk, lets just say 28 since that seems to be a reoccurring number (he’s probably a bit younger). During those years she spent time in Neverland, and was additionally sent back in time in season 3 when they were all sent to the EF, which would only take of about a year. So, in total, she’s 73ish and physically 45. Check my math? So yeah, they don’t need to age her and the fact that they don’t shows consistency. Right? I could be missing something. Gosh, this really does remind me of Lost😂😂😂
I think it is because she is a witch and because of her magic she ages slowly. Before she cast the first curse Snow White grew up and Regina did age for a while until she learned to fully control her magic. I am guessing this is why but to be honest who really knows 😂
Perhaps it was the price for Regina’s past misdeeds. Murdering Graham, Greg’s father, and an entire village … I mean, some fans still didn’t like how Regina’s past misdeeds were forgotten. Although she changed, perhaps her not having Robin somewhat served as her karma.
I agree. And I found this ending of crowning her as the 'good queen' quite cynical. Regina never wanted to be Queen in the first place, she wanted love. And now she seemed so lonely when they crowned her at the end of the show...
@Lily-qy1sh I feel like the crown was given to her to fill the void left behind by Robin. Also.... where tf is Roland? They gave him a son and then decided it was too complicated keeping the son in the story....
@@applejaxx8950 Roland returns to Camelot with the Merry Men after Robin's funeral. But a crown for love...? That's what I'm saying, it's cynical considering how Regina was deprived of love and given a crown instead already by her mother. (Cynical by the writers, not Snow & Charming)
I agree they have no chemistry and don’t suit the writers should have paired Henry up with someone else it’s not the actress that’s the issue I think she would have been fine if she was paired with a different character.
Henry had more chemistry with the wicked step sister which would have been a much more interesting storyline than just trying to replicated the Snow Charming relationship

Water wolves 102 The woman is Regina Mills, aka the Evil Queen from Snow White. She adopted a son named Henry (the guy) and this is about 30 or so years later when he’s all grown up.
I hate Henry and Evilly's relation. Mother's can't be clingy it's wrong and not healthy. Henry is a person and a man now. Not a symbol of power. If Evilly is lonely then she needs to get a life instead of dragging down Henry's. She just is holding onto him because she still sees herself as a lonely girl with a male offspring that's not even hers as her core. If she'd open her heart and let others in instead of centered around one she'd actually be happy. But no one's good enough for her. Not even Henry. After all to start off with she didn't even like who he wanted to be. She wanted him to be what she wanted him to be. Ha. Like Cora like Regeeknerda.
I don't believe that's true. She isn't dragging Henry down. She accepted that he wanted to leave Storybrooke and be his own person, she accepted that he has grown up and is in love with Ella. She didn't try to sabotage his relationship so he would only depend on her, she didn't try to drag him back to Storybrooke against his will. She didn't even ask to stay with him until Henry offered. She isn't clingy. She loves him very much and she might depend on him a little too much but she never tried to stop him from being who he wants to be. After the first few seasons she has done her best to be a good mother to Henry, to be someone he wants to have in his life. She doesn't see him as a symbol of power. And she does love other people -maybe not as much as she loves Henry but she has formed meaningful relationships. She might have been like Cora at first but she has changed. She's not always perfect but she does her best.

I think that’s just a kids thing in general. Every child doesn’t appreciate their parents but when they grow up they realize how important they are.

Exactly, I loved season 7
As a kid the world is black and white. But as an adult you tend to see things for what they are
Regina did a lot of things wrong, but she did love Henry. Maybe a little obsessively, but deep down she did and nothing wrong with loving a little boy.
true, and it is precisely for henry that regina has wanted to abandon the evil
and regina has been a much better mother than his mother cora
cora was cold and cruel and she wanted to control the life of regina
and if you want my opinion at about of cora, it's she who should have been evil queen not regina
I think her obsession was rooted in the fact she wanted to be loved.
I love these bonding moment with them ❤️❤️

This older actor for Henry is FINE! 😍
I’m still sure about his relashionship with Cinderella
Kinda because I wouldn’t mind replacing her
