Love your podcasts Danny. You are the plant youtube queen. Other youtubers have large collections, a lot of knowledge, but only you have the lot. Knowledge, the collection, and the superb specimens. Much love and hugs. Xxx

Dani you have such a great set up for these plants, see so many uTube plant people not having any set up for these plants and they die. Thanks for great tutorial.🤗

Danny great video you really need an "eyelash begonia" a friend's sister gave me a piece in a 4 inch pot about three years ago and now she's in a 12 inch pot so big and round in my opinion you should look it up. Love is around the corner 💘

I’ve heard that the pink syngonium don’t revert but after doing some research I didn’t manage to find much more information on it. The white variegated ones definitely can in low light and the mottled variety does quite easily in general. However the pink one I’ve had hasn’t even seemed slightly shaky with it’s variegation at all. I mean I wouldn’t keep it in a dark corner and tempt it but if it’s in a decent spot it should be alright and without the stress of the other varieties.

I found the most beautiful yellow and red mini phal in a local flower shop. It’s one of those decorative plants that are ment to be thrown away once the blooming is done, but thanks to Danni I think I know how to save it.
This is really a great channel to learn as a beginner.

You should be able to use magnets through the glass itself and just place magnets on the outside. If you want to stop any pots from sliding you could probably use a glue gun for the magnets on the outside so that they stay in place, and the bonus is that they should be easily removable in the future.

Hi Dani, I have a pink splash and pink spot Syngonium and I give them both very bright indirect light and they have not reverted yet! I also have the albo varigata and I do the same! I did propagate the albo just in case! Good luck with your beauties! 😍😍🌱🌱

Your shelf of misc plants reminds me of the shelf I have in my grow space that my husband calls the "Orchid I.C.U." It's a sad variety of orchids in miscellaneous stages of possibly dying or hopefully coming back to life. ;)

My Alocasias are in normal house humidity (30 to 40 %) and those have grown into being 1m+ tall. These become huge in few years, if liking their environment.
All the best with your new additions!

@@jessicabey275 Unfortunately in Europe, these are quite common here. Hope you would be able to get in future the same supply level as we have here.

You could try using some black foam tape on the metal backs of the cabinet to form a faux "ridge" that will help prevent the magnet attached pots from sliding down.

I bought a tiny angel wing begonia and when i got home i noticed it had mealy bugs 😨 so i sprayed it and left it outside.. all the leaves died off and with fresh soil no bugs so it hasgrown back in all its beautiful glory.. as for humidity I am in Ontario Canada and have absolutely no humidity.. in fact my begonias are on my west facing kitchen window

Danny you set up is beautiful, but the humidifier and the lights are very close and you have the doors close too...please check with electrician if it's ok...because I believe it's not..just my opinion.

Hi, you can buy orchids and rare plants from Secret Garden 😜
Will be interesting to see how you make a review to a online plant store from Romania, they ship to Cyprus.
If I add a link to a comment, that comment is deleted? 🙄

What was your advice regarding getting rid of fungus gnats?

    • @danierrett2524
      @danierrett2524 2 года назад

I think she was talking about that top layer of bark she adds to keep the moss from getting algae.. once she started that she noticed the gnats went away… i even tried rewinding to see if she says exactly because i was also curious.. but thats what i put together…
