“The biggest challenge a filmmaker faces is to find their voice and if an artist does find their voice, it’s a reason for all of us to celebrate”, - says Gyan, who wrote and directed The Good Road, which won the National Award (the first Gujarati film to have done so in over 30 years) and was nominated to be India’s Oscar submission for 2013. Gyan shares his journey on The Good Road and nudges everyone to be brave and unflinching as an artist with a nudge - “The choices that we make shape who we are”. His filmmaking career spans TVCs for major brands, documentaries for UGC, UNICEF, etc. and multi-episode TV serials shot across India and Europe.
