I think what Bam Bam was getting at is that there was one rule for the clique and another rule for everyone else.
Bam Bam was meant to get a big push in 1995 after he turned face but the Clique decided they didn't like it so they got it canned.
ToonandBBfan He also got a big push back in the 1987 survivor series. I have heard that Hogan was not happy that he was overshadowed in that show, and that's part of the reason why Bam Bam left the first time, and only came back after Hogan left.

Kind of agree with Shawn. Maybe not with the way he said it, but they spend over 300 days a year on the road away from family, 90% of the job is travel, your friends become your family and traveling with them makes the treacherous schedule more bearable. People are saying Bam Bam was respecting kayfabe, but it was clearly more than that. Seems like he had issues with those guys.
being brought up in Memphis i can guarantee Bam Bam was always told Kayfabe, that's how we make money is people believing we really want to kill each other.

Even though Nash is being critical of Bigelow here it's interesting to note that the latter has spoken fairly well of the near 7 footer. In the three hour interview Bigelow stated that away from the kiliq Nash was one of the most personable people you could meet and that he was only ever really a prick when he was with them. Actually he claimed that he once saw him being practically bullied in to behaving like one presumably by Michaels! So with this in mind I'm assuming Nash and Bigelow got along fine it's just that when it comes to your friends or acquaintances you don't necessarily recognize when they're being unreasonable or foolish.
Same thing was said of hall. These guys are pricks, and two faced for the matter. They can play nice but are in effect snakes. You can see that nash (to use rvd's words) also drops with insincerity. I don't think any of the 5 kliq members are redeemable at all.
@@darkseidistheboss5781 I don't know. I've heard Jim Cornette say that the one member of the Kliq he actually liked was Sean Waltman. He's the only one he's actually gone up and apologized for cutting a promo on him where he slated him. He said they always got along and that Waltman was always professional and never refused to do a job for anyone. As a matter of fact Waltman s the only one member of the Klik I've seen who hasn't had anything negative to say about Bret Hart. I've even seen fans online who say they've met him say he's very friendly and good to his fans. I recall one guy saying he attended a some convention or something where Nash, Hall and Waltman were present and of the three of them Waltman was the most nice and down to earth.

Shawn Michaels had a point though. Who cares who they ride with? And if they have people following them from show to show, props to them because that's guaranteed money for the company.
Cause Bam Bam was old school and respected Kayfabe. Back in the day heels never traveled with faces, let alone travel with somebody you were working with. Word travels fast, so if a few fans see Shawn being buddy buddy with Razor and those few fans tell their friends they saw that, and those people tell everybody what they heard etc. etc. suddenly the whole sense of realism is gone, and it makes it that much harder for you to suspend belief when watching a match. So yeah I could see Shawn's point, but I could see Bam Bam's too.
Matt Combs Yeah, I remember back in the day it was a huge scandal among some fans that Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Iron Sheik got arrested together.

HBK would only talk to Bam Bam like that because he knew if Bam Bam would have beat the daylights out of him (like he should have/would have), he would have been fired.
To be fair to Bam Bam, he had a good point too. It's really a difference in eras and mindset. I will say this, though, I've seen a lot of Kevin Nash interviews and he has a lot of old school views based on when he was brought up in the business so it's surprising he acted like Bam Bam was so dumb for suggesting what he did. I literally just watched an interview with JBL not too long ago where he said he wouldn't even let them sell tee shirts with his name on them because a true heel doesn't have fans. He didn't want people seeing all these kids wearing his tee shirt and having people think "Well, JBL must not be that bad if he has all these fans."
If Nash quoted Hall just as it was said, it sounds like Nash and Hall both got Bam Bam's point, or would have. If not for the fact that they were just doing a bunch of house shows in the EU somewhere and they realized it was the same fans watching every night. So at that point, there's no kayfabe to even worry about, so who really cares who is on whose bus?
Nah bam bam was just telling tales like a big baby. Fans think of him as some hard man. But he was just big bully who acts like a cry baby when he can't get his ways. Plenty of stories about that guy being salty or trying to act like a tough to only to get put in his place. This is just another bam bam cry baby story

I got to trick-or-treat at Bam Bam's house on Halloween the year he headlined WrestleMania 11. He was living in a house in Willimantic, CT around that time. I remember him growling "NOW TAKE SOME CANDY AND BE HAPPY!" kayfabe-style. Good time to be a kid. A shame I didn't get his autograph. Would've taken that in place of candy even then.

Lol Nash gets a bad rep for some of his work and demeanor, but he is well known as one of the biggest equal rights supporters in wrestling and anyone that was gay or against the grain in the business whether wrestler or just production crew he stood up for backstage and defended if they were getting any shit from more close minded or bully attitude wrestlers.

Bam bam had a perfectly legitimate concern - one which many of the old school wrestlers would have shared. Scott Hall’s point was a valid one and a good rebuttal point. The fact that Michaels popped up immediately with no substantive point besides name-calling only proves what childish, self-Centred idiots he and his cronies could be - from Nash’s own version.....
Well he had a point. He’s on the road 300+ days a year. They should be allowed to spend it with whomever they choose in the business. It might have been selfish in others eyes but they could’ve easily done the same thing instead of snitching to the boss like something was gonna change.

Plus when one of your best friend's is about 6'10 and over 300lbs of muscle and your other best friend is about 6'7 and about 270 - 275lbs of muscle you can afford to be mouthy. If it wasn't for Nash, Hall and Vince McMahon backing up him Shawn wouldn't have said shit to Bam Bam.
It's not even a matter of inference, it's come to a head before. The Harris brothers tried to kick his ass, Bret went at him in the locker room at some point and tore some of his hair out. Incidentally, note how that whole "unsafe working conditions" thing him losing his smile happened after Hall and Nash were gone and other guys in the company were on the rise. Hell, allegedly Taker was waiting for him the locker room while he dropped the belt to Austin just to make sure he went through with it.
