I am a Tai-Ahom from Assam, India. Our ancestors are from Mongmao of Nanchao (now in Yunnan, China). Unfortunately, we forgot our language. Except for the surviving priestly class, revivalists and scholars, it is not spoken by our people. So I cannot understand the lyrics 🥲
