NOTE: This is one of the most popular pre-war Apash tangos composed in Poland. The Dana Choir performance achieved sales of approx. 100,000 copies, which was an incredible publishing success in those years. Faliszewski's version, albeit truly unique, did not however achieve comparable popularity.

Przynosi to tak wiele wspomnien z mojego dziecinstwa. Polska lata 60 " Brystol" Ciechocinek . Ojciec i matka tanczacy to wlasnie Tango ! ktorego slowa pamietam do dzis i ta melode 🎶💃😍 Ja i brat szukajc przygod wymykajac sie z hotelowego lozeka w pizamie 😂 wspinajacych sie do okien aby moc to wszystko obserwowac . 🙋‍💌

Ładne wspomnienie dawnego Ciechocinka :-) W tamtych latach tango "Pamiętam twoje oczy" wykonywał też Jerzy Połomski i niewykluczone, że to on wtedy śpiewał w "Bristolu" :-) Pozdrawiam :-).

Faliszewski is at his best in this beautiful tango about memorable eyes; no doubt that it also is a treat for the ears :-) The advertisements and pictures you included in this video were lovely as well. Thank you very much for sharing.

@@annetteparker3471 Your expression "Music creates drama" is very good. And i am refering the dramatic feeling to the composition of the music and also to the text. At the beginning the instruments are creating a dramatic athmosphere and the text is simply a drama of love. I am remembering your eyes, - its the drama of a lost love. And in a drama the protagonists , in this case, the lovers are suffering and thats the passion. The origen of the word passion we find in the greek word "Pathos" and its verb "paschein" - which means suffering. So the music and the text of the tango is creating a drama which makes us suffer, because everybody suffered once in his life because of love remembering the eyes of a loved person. ---So the music creates the drama, and the drama creates the suffering in our hearts. When I am dancing Tango, I feel always like a protagonist in a piece of Theater. And Faliszewski sung his Tangos in the polish theaters and he was very talented to generate this dramatic atmosphere.
