As soon as I finished Xenoblade a few months ago, I wanted to see someone else reaction to the ending and came to this playthrough. Today, this man passed away, and even though I didn't follow him for long, I felt sad and cried for him for several hours now. May you rest in peace

I hate to admit it, but after all the sin he has done, and no grief and godly sorrow over his wrongdoings, which is what repentance means, he is not saved, and did not trust in the Lord with all of his heart, and is not in heaven. He committed suicide for goodness sakes!! Do you even realize that?!
I used to watch Etika every day he streamed for like 2 or 3 years before he passed. I still miss him a lot :( I finally got around to playing Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition a month ago, and I’m now on Chapter 4 of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I’m loving it so far despite some criticisms. I just vividly remember watching him play bits of this game before leaving those streams early. I knew I wanted to play it one day, and didn’t want to be spoiled. I remember he absolutely loved it, and was obsessed with Mythra for years afterward. I remember he constantly saved pictures of her barefoot lmao. Good memories, makes me remember the good times we had with him when I play the game. Joycon Boyz for life.

And you don't know Etika at all if you think his fanbase consists of pre-teens lmao; his fanbase was mostly mid-mostly late teens and young adults, not pre-teens lmfao.

Okay I’m just now getting this. When Malos said “Ah, but those eyes. I should have been more wary from the start.” Addam and Rex both have the same eye color. It’s a bit of a stretch but Rex might be a descendent of Addam. That’s what Malos realizes in that moment
I've been saying this since the first few months after the game's release. I thought the same thing but when I tried comparing Rex's eye color with Addams (In the cutscene after Spirit Crucible Elpys) his eyes were purple. Of course, now we know that they both have the same colored eyes. Another indicator is that Rex's parents in that one cutscene were wearing Tantalese clothing.
Man any xenoblade announcement is so bittersweet that he is gone, but this one particularly so, we can only hope there are joycons beyond this world 🤙🏻 miss you etika
Yea definitely. Urayans have the Australian accents, and I love that they added that layer of realism where everyone has a different accent depending on what titan they come from.
I could watch him play Xenoblade over and over. So unfortunate that he never got to see the reveal of Xenoblade 3. But I am forever grateful to him introducing me to this franchise. Greatly missed.
@@enocjimenez972 personally, i'm a big fan of mythra because of her story. she goes from a detached, unempathetic, carless and elitist blade too convinced of her own self-importance to a person haunted by her own failures once she tries to help save the people she cares about. she is so overcome by guilt and anger that she literally created a new personality/ego so that she can keep living. she seals herself away within pyra, who is then sealed into the ancient ship on top of that! and that's all i can be bothered to write right now, but i really love them both. torna : the golden country does a lot for mythra's character even if you don't like her in the base game.
XC3 is my first XC game and thought I'd watch some of this to expand my knowledge and what not i know I'm going backwards in this series but i really wanted to play XC3 when it came out and it hooked me from trailer #1 so now I'm just learning. I'm sad he will never experience XC3 for the masterpiece that it is but if he did play this game he would've loved the music and would've been like his persona 5 streams all over again lol RIP to a legend 🥲
Around the 2 hour mark Etika mentions that a streamer pretty much said to him he was stupid for not getting how the game works. I hope remarks like this one did not get to him. I really hope that is not the reason why he decided to end it. I cant even begin to imagine all the pressure one must feel when thousands are watching. Along with all those nasty comments. I suspect that Etika had a personality of a codependent where he lived for the approval of others. It's very common in our world. However, It was not his fault if this is true. People who grow up in a toxic environment with emotionally absent or abusive parents tend to be psychologically programmed at a young age that there not enough. I have gone through similar things. Life is hard. I'll never forget you Etika. I wish I could have met you. Thanks for making me laugh and smile. 😢 😄
