Great reaction as usual uncle D 🎉 here answering some of your questions (and if you read it, sorry for yet another long-ass comment..lol) 9:40 yes, that's actually how they fish! Lol..that is a picture of fishermen from Intha Tribe, originally from Inle lake, Myanmar..I think they spread out to Riau Islands and Sumatera, just like Suku Bajau (the one from the earlier in the video) are spread out between Indonesia and the Phillipines...these Intha fishermen use both their legs to assists their hands..as you can see in the video, they hold their net traps with their left hand, propped up by their left leg and when they row (in the video, the paddle is in their right hand) they will use their right leg to assist the rowing motion..so they almost always balancing on one leg most of the time and they're so gracefull with it! Almost like dancing! If you're curious about their dancing-like style fishing, just search Intha Tribe Fishing. (FYI, I think the photo in the video is photo of the actual original Inthe Tribe from Myanmar, cause they wear their traditional Inthe work clothes, Inthe tribes people that are migrating usually wear whatever traditional clothes of the area they were migrated to) 12:14 yes, it's usually that empty if you pick the least well known beach, and remember, 17.000+ plus islands means SHIT TONS of beaches..lol..so you'll have a lot to choose from even if you avoid most well-known places and it would still be beautifull! in peak holiday season, just avoid the beaches in Java, Bali, Lombok, Raja Ampat, Bunaken, Sumba, Labuan Bajo, Mentawai and the likes, and you're good..still thousands of beaches to pick from 18:31 here some perspective, I went with an expedition to 92 outter-most islands of Indonesia back in early 2000s, there are three stages of the expeditions (West Indonesia, Middle and Eastern Indonesia) I only went on the west Indonesia stage...the whole three stages took almost three years to complete..so there, 92 islands = 3 years...17.000+ islands = multiple lifetimes...lol..but here is the thing, if you only have a year, or even a month, and you choose 3 or 4 islands, I promise you it would worth the cost and effort..and the next time you visit, you would still have another 3 or 4 sets of different islands to visit..this is one of the thing I love about this country..an adventure that lasts a lifetime..and when I die, I don't think I would regret that there are still many places I haven't visited yet, cause the ones that I did visit are so fulfilling it would last with me forever
Thanks for no.1. I didn’t know that! You’re very lucky to have visited so many areas in Indonesia! I have been to only a few and would like to add more for sure!
It's REAL..., many many more amazing places in every province and island of Indonesia. And our land is very rich and fertiles.., we have everything here and live together in differences. Proud of Indonesia 🇮🇩❤
Bali and Labuan Bajo right now are the most crowded tourist places. Other beaches are mostly empty but there are more people at the weekend mostly local tourists...😊
I live in Indonesia, i’m indonesian i like to see nature and when ever I go to an Island I’m almost always amazed and feel so lucky to live in Indonesia. Every place are different, and give different feelings.
Aku bangga sebagai warga negara Indonesia...❤ Indonesia is God's spectacular masterpiece, God paints beauty on canvas (Indonesia) that amazes all living creatures in the world
Indonesia officially the Republic of Indonesia is a country in Southeast Asia and Oceania, between the Indian and Pacific oceans. It consists of over 17,000 islands, including Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, and parts of Borneo and New Guinea. Indonesia is the world's largest archipelagic state and the 14th-largest country by area, at 1,904,569 square kilometres (735,358 square miles). With over 280 million people, Indonesia is the world's fourth-most-populous country and the most populous Muslim-majority country. Java, the world's most populous island, is home to more than half of the country's population. Indonesia is a presidential republic with an elected legislature. It has 38 provinces, of which nine have special autonomous status. The country's largest city, Jakarta, is the world's second-most-populous urban area. Indonesia shares land borders with Papua New Guinea, East Timor, and the eastern part of Malaysia, as well as maritime borders with Singapore, Peninsula Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia, Palau, and India. Despite its large population and densely populated regions, Indonesia has vast areas of wilderness that support one of the world's highest levels of biodiversity. The Indonesian archipelago has been a valuable region for trade since at least the seventh century when Sumatra's Srivijaya and later Java's Majapahit kingdoms engaged in commerce with entities from mainland China and the Indian subcontinent. Over the centuries, local rulers assimilated foreign influences, leading to the flourishing of Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms. Sunni traders and Sufi scholars later brought Islam, and European powers fought one another to monopolise trade in the Spice Islands of Maluku during the Age of Discovery. Following three and a half centuries of Dutch colonialism, Indonesia secured its independence after World War II. Indonesia's history has since been turbulent, with challenges posed by natural disasters, corruption, separatism, a democratisation process, and periods of rapid economic growth. Indonesia consists of thousands of distinct native ethnic and hundreds of linguistic groups, with Javanese being the largest. A shared identity has developed with the motto "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" ("Unity in Diversity" literally, "many, yet one"), defined by a national language, cultural diversity, religious pluralism within a Muslim-majority population, and a history of colonialism and rebellion against it. The economy of Indonesia is the world's 16th-largest by nominal GDP and the 7th-largest by PPP. It is the world's third-largest democracy, a regional power, and is considered a middle power in global affairs. The country is a member of several multilateral organisations, including the United Nations, World Trade Organization, G20, and a founding member of the Non-Aligned Movement, Association of Southeast Asian Nations, East Asia Summit, D-8, APEC, and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. 🇮🇩❤👑🏆🔥 NB : Source of Wikipedia

12:20 with respect uncle, Indonesia is so big that not many people can visit if not have more than 1 weeks day off, you know our people are slave to work, we wake up and work from 7 am to 5 pm and the salary is not good, dollar and rupiah have different value you know, hehehe. So if you saw that not many people visit it's probably because the place is far away or we local not have day off or we broke lmao.
Sasak adalah bahasa pulau lombok ttp sangat banyak pecahannya setiap desa dg bahasa dan dialek lain bahkan jauh beda Ttp kami semua disana mengerti satu sama lain
I think, I as an Indonesian who was born and raised in this country have been accustomed to views like this. Since childhood when it was almost evening, when I had to do homework from school, national television always showed the same video views about the beauty of nature. Even in the news, it often reported that the government was opening this and that tourist area, with views like that. When growing up as a high school and university student, if there was a holiday, there were also vacations to areas like that, but what felt more tiring was the buttocks during the long journey to the destination. It feels like the more mature I am, the more ordinary it is. But for foreigners, especially western people, it feels like visiting another planet, a new and surprising experience, I was surprised to know it. 12.10 You asked, this like an advertisement that a very beautiful beach looks deserted, just looked 5-10 people on the beach? The answer is no, that beach just like that even at many of beaches nobody there, of course on every island because this is an archipelago there are tens of thousands of beaches, which are untouchable.. which are still pure nature, that's why as I said it will feel tiring on the journey. If the beach that has been opened publicly and managed will be easy to reach but the untouchable ones are generally in remote areas far from the city center. And for kind of city life people, a long trip to rural area is a tiring adventure. If you want to go to Indomaret (such as a convenience store) you need to travel at least 10km.😅
Most of the beach in East Indonesia are mostly still untouched and less visitors because the cost for most indonesian people are considered expensive... Maybe for western tourist they said it's cheap because of kurs rate between dollars or euro to rupiah....
With thousands of island, 750 languages, plenty cultures and believes, we are united in one nation, NKRI. Don't teach us about tolerance! We live in tolerance and harmony since we were born! 🎉

Bali island beaches have more visitors coz the island is already well known; however, hundred more beaches in eastern part of Indonesia are still secluded, thats why the beaches look empty because not much visitors yet
Mr D perlu banyak uang untuk mengunjunginya, need many money for visit there. Kalo pantai asal bukan bali sepi saja, dan jangan hari libur. Dont visit the beach in holiday. Kami saja yang orang indonesia tidak mampu berkeliling. 5.330 km panjangnya negara ini. I hope you visit there. ❤❤❤❤
