I was wondering, since it has been raining so much with all of the storms, could it be possible that the yellowing of the plants is related to too much water? Or is the opposite happening? The baby cucumbers are so cute!
Most of the plants are happy but the green beans are really unhappy. I tried to do some research and I believe its the heat because its been 90s outside and has been feeling like low 100s even with the rain. So I believe its the heat and humidity. I think its just too much for them. This recent storm that came through has really damaged them and some of the plants blew over from the high winds. It'll be okay though Ill probably pull them up and replace them with something else. I'm not sure what I want to put there instead. Any Ideas? Maybe some other types of peppers(I've heard they do well in the heat)? I'm not sure because the heat is about to get much worse. I may just have to wait until the end of august to plant more stuff out.
I'm not sure what you and your family like to eat, but some type of pea plants do well in the heat and humidity of the south. I really like purple hull peas or fresh black eye peas. Okra does well in harsh temperatures too. ❤️
@c.klorenz4332 I'll have to look into them. Honestly we are willing to try new things often so it might be fun to grow something different. Thank you!
