- I'll walk you through the Home Assistant Community Store (HACS). In particular, I'll show you how Custom Repositories in HACS allow you to install Custom Components that are only available on GitHub and not through Home Assistant or HACS by default.

I'm trying to install swilson/aqualogic from github but when I add the repo in HACS it says "Repository structure for 2.6 is not compliant"
Thank you so much for making the walkthrough! Helped me a lot with installing my first HACS custom component :)
Hey!
Nice video, showing in a few minutes how to get it going. Thank you
Very helpful! As someone not that savvy with GitHub, thank you!

This keeps telling me "Repository 'xy' exists in the store." no matter which GitHub res I try to install :/ Any hint whats wrong there?
Apreciated! I managed to install another Custom Component as total nub
Many many thanks.greetings from Greece
Ive followed your instructions and have your strava component added to the custom components list in hacs, but when i go to configuration - integrations in home assistant, the component doesnt show.
Any ideas?
Edit:- Looks like a cache issue, tried a different browser and it was there
Hi Richard, we've already gotten this issue reported previously. Unfortunately, it seems to be a latency issue related to HACS and you should be fine if you add the GitHub repository to HACS, wait a second, and then try again.
