    "Make disciples," (Mt 28:19) is one of our commissions. Not to be confused w/being a Life Coach. A Disciple Maker is, by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, a Tour Guide. Amen 😉

    • @daviesbydesign

      A tour guide doesn't care if you get off the ride though. Life coach and tour guide are both bad examples. A disciple who is making disciples is all it needs to be. No need to complicate it.

    If you as a Christan have no pains at all, that's because you are no threat to the devil.
    The evil one flogging you through his flying monkeys is really impossible to avoid for a real Christian.
    The cure : following Jesus long enough so He can break every chain. The race is not for the swift, but for the strong.

    What if Troy was like Job just carrying the Lord's Cross and that's why the doctors can not understand his mystical pains?
    What if he is blessed with picking up his cross every day? And he thinks he's cursed...And people want to remove His blessed cross? So let us be careful not to accuse Job of being a sinner. Jesus alone can help with this issue. Blessed is He !

    If we are to forgive all, then why in Revelations 6, do the saints in heaven want God to avenge their deaths and trials that they received from those on the earth? I know that I'm no different than anyone else, except that I trusted in what Christ has done for me. But I still have a problem forgiving, especially church leaders where I feel like they leading the believers in the wrong direction. I am struggling with the King James Only issue. I believe God preserved his word and that if all the Bibles said the same things, even if it said it a bit differently, I would be ok with that. But they don't. So sharing it with my friends and family that are believers, they just reject it all and argue. I struggle with my flesh still so I also feel like a Iose, much like you were saying about Cian. Thanks for your love and concern.

      Vengeance is the Lord's, not yours. Give it to Him; and this is what the saints in heaven are doing.
      Deuteronomy 32:35 New King James Version (NKJV)
      35 Vengeance is Mine, and recompense;
      Their foot shall slip in due time;
      For the day of their calamity is at hand,
      And the things to come hasten upon them.’
      Romans 12:17-19 New King James Version (NKJV)
      17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have[a] regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

      The souls are not taking revenge. They have forgiven those who killed them, and it is God who judges.
      "Rejoice, O nations, with his people, for he will avenge the blood of his servants;" (Deuteronomy 32:43)
      If you do not forgive others, you will not be forgiven by God. Your choice.

      Hey Clinton, about your King James Only issues: Translations are mans invention. The originals are in Hebrew and Greek. There is no translation that is perfect but word-for-word translations are the best in general. I find the NASB to be the best for serious study. When it comes to Theology you will need to be able to study the original texts in depth with a Concordance. When you find scripture that seems to be in conflict from one translation to another make note of it and dig in with a serious study. You will be surprised to find that scripture becomes even more amazing when you do this. The word is inerrant - God bless

    • @Beleeuer
      @Beleeuer 4 года назад

      @@vinbelmonte5951 thank you for the response. The issue I have is not with the translation itself. It's the fact that they are translated from different Greek and Hebrew manuscripts. So technically, they are different Bible. The nasb is missing verses, words, and adds words, changes words to an opposite meanings than the traditional text. The lexicons and concordances have when changed some. To say I need to read Greek and Hebrew to understand what God has said is crazy to me. If I, being an English speaking person, can read Greek and Hebrew and understand what I'm reading, how can I not be able to translate that to English? There are many English words that were made based off the manuscripts.
      The problem I have with the nasb is that it was originally a very liberal Bible. They updated to be more acceptable today and people have lost the history so they don't know about it. We just trust what we are given or bought. The nasb actually splits God into two God's. And reads as the watch tower Bible, based off of a Greek manuscript in John 1:18. Compare that to the kjv. This has been foundational to me.

      @Bobby Bear @Greg Miller: [Acts 10:9-16] 9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: 10And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15And the voice [spake] unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, [that] call not thou common. 16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
      ~
      Barnes' Notes on the Bible
      :
      What God hath cleansed - What God has pronounced or declared pure. If God has commanded you to do a thing, it is not impure or wrong. Perhaps Peter would suppose that the design of this vision was to instruct him that the distinction between clean and unclean food, as recognized by the Jews, was about to be abolished, Acts 10:17. But the result showed that it had a higher and more important design. It was to show him that they who had been esteemed by the Jews as unclean or profane - the entire Gentile world - might now be admitted to similar privileges with the Jews. That barrier was robe broken down, and the whole world was to be admitted to the same fellowship and privileges in the gospel. See Ephesians 2:14; Galatians 3:28. It was also true that the ceremonial laws of the Jews in regard to clean and unclean beasts was to pass away, though this was not directly taught in this vision. But when once the barrier was removed that separated the Jews and Gentiles, all the laws which were founded on such a distinction, and which were framed to keep up such a distinction, passed away of course. The ceremonial laws of the Jews were designed solely to keep up the distinction between them and other nations. When the distinction was abolished; when other nations were to be admitted to the same privileges, the laws which were made to keep up such a difference received their death-blow, and expired of course. For it is a maxim of all law, that when the reason why a law was made ceases to exist, the law becomes obsolete. Yet it was not easy to convince the Jews that their laws ceased to be binding. This point the apostles labored to establish; and from this point arose most of the difficulties between the Jewish and Gentile converts to Christianity. See Acts 15; and Romans 14-15:
      Jesus is on His Way!

      Do you realize that you are a sinner, and that only Jesus can remove your sins, because He died in your place on the cross? Have you asked God for forgiveness, and have asked Him to take over your life? 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If you have asked Jesus into your life, then you are saved. There should be a change in your life when Christ comes in. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. You must do your part now by resisting evil, and seeking for God by reading the Bible, and spending time in prayer. You become a child of God, and God wants you to have a relationship with Him. So seek Him with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

If you dont think a demon can stand in God presence, then please tell me why did God ask Santa “ where are you coming from? Job 1:7. So if Satan can stand before God , why cant a demon processes someone’s body that has the Holy sprit?

    • @DTK5689
      @DTK5689 4 года назад

      @@jennslarson Possession means an unclean spirit can control your actions like the demon possessed man possessed by Legion. This is different from oppression, which believers can be affected by. They cannot be possessed in my opinion. Oppressive spirits can bring illness and pain as well as plant ideas in a believer's mind, but cannot overtake them. Before we were born again, we all were children of Satan. Once saved, we are children of God with a new heart for Him. None can take away from Him.
