lifelong wrestling fan here and I just wanted to say from the stories I've heard I would never ever ever want to wrestle in Puerto Rico. I mean the fans were actually ferocious there. And let's not forget what happened to poor bruiser Brody.
The killing of Brody was absolutely horrible. Now as a Puertorican who grew up in the island during this time, I have to say the wrestlers loved the fan's intensity. The fans got so into it that it made their job even better. I'm not aware of any actual attacks on the heels by the fans so it was all left in the arena.

However, it only took around 1 minute of seeing Taker in action before realizing he was my new favorite wrestler lol. He's remained my favorite ever since!

His character could have evolved overtime, can’t forget the reason he was brought in to the wwf was to promote the no holds barred movie. He had more moves in the movie than he had on tv.

As Jim Cornette would say, "Zeus in ring work was the shits", he can't even throw a convincing looking forearm smash. Feel bad for the announcers and Abdullah having to sell this.
Say what you will about Zeus's wrestling ability or lack there of but I think he wrestled this way because that's what his character was supposed to wrestle like. I'm sure if he'd been allowed to use more technical moves, he would've used them. His tag match against Hogan was one of my favorites, but that had to do with how they used Zeus in it.
I guess one flaw in his character was that they didn't give him any kind of weakness; Like how the Undertaker had the Urn in early years and (in-story) his opponents would occasionally steal and hide it to "weaken" him.
