Japan is one of the countries where the present merges with the past and the future. Although Japanese cities like Kawasaki is known as an industrial city, their cultural roots are still strong and authentic. It is their utmost authenticity is what I love about Japan. ❤

Kawasaki was my home for three years. It brought back memories to see video of the harbor area, but there is so much more to the city when you go north to the Miyamae-ku area. I’d love to go back and visit again one day!
I lived in Kawasaki for 20 years, and must say that the true awesomeness of this city is in the part that all these "clean+pretty" stuff (shown in this video) coexists so well with the "dirty+noisy" stuff like the red-light district, the game centers, gambling racecourse, etc (not shown in this vid). Most of them are literally few minutes away by walk, and this harmony is hard to show in a short video maybe. けど何にせよ好きな故郷を素敵なビデオでまとめて見れるのは嬉しい。良いぞ川崎！！
I miss japan I was there for 3 months living in kawasaki. Amazing experience and I even had some pictures that I took be used in air bnb magazine. Sad to see tamaplaza was not in this video but all good.
When I went to Japan the best part was living with a host family. They had a 1 year old and a 3 year old. Being the older brother I am both of them grew on me and it reminds of how nice it was being a kid. If you ever want to travel cheap live with a host family they treated me like family and even gave me their university card that they work at. I love you Japan, I’m coming back in the summer... P.S the only problem I had with Japan is the tax, it’s gonna be 10%....
One day I’ll get to Japan. I got really drunk one night while watching the last samurai- like, really drunk. So drunk in fact that I bought a plane ticket to Tokyo(one-way, no less). Luckily, the airline refunded me the next day with a $25 service charge. I’ve since quit drinking but my desire to visit Japan has only grown.

Visiting Japan is definitely on my bucket list.
