A minefield challenge would be sweet where they always destroy resources and go off at the slightest touch. Then you could scale the difficulty by increasing their number and density instead of (or in addition to) harder enemies.
I recently had a fun assessor run with a starting lift. No need to upgrade bundle lifetime (or even orbs) for some time, as you can always just shoot bundles towards the lift , or up the lift and they always stay at the lift for you or the orb to pick up. So unupgraded lift for assessor is just a better version of upgraded central marker with free orbs.
You know what could be an interesting addition (if possible). If detonating the mines temporarily stunned the character as well as destroyed all the blocks.
An additional upgrade to the worms could be 'Exhaustive Extraction'. The worms could attach to regular rock and depending on the density, could extract between 0-4 Iron from it. If you destroy the rock, you get the worms back. This could have another upgrade called 'Inclusive Extraction', where they'll also mine Cobalt and Water. Then finally, they could have an upgrade called 'Absolute Extraction' where they'll just keep spreading out, covering every rock and resource they can reach before the next wave starts, during which, they'll pump out all the resources they've expanded to.
Here's a challenge for you: play on large or huge map and kill the final wave. Restrictions: no gadgets. Even starting gadget has to be disabled, if you can't do that then select repellent/orchard but never use it. Dome/keeper choice is yours. Bo difficulty restrictions, but more respect if difficulty is higher. Good luck!
I think for challenge, the bomb should destroy ALL resources as soon as anything touches it, whether it be already mined resources, bundled ones, etc. and falling or rolling resources should be able to set them off as well. I feel like this doesn’t seem like much of a challenge otherwise
I think the bombs should also be able to destroy, un-excavated resources. As it is currently, the risk of triggering them is rather mild. It would force to be more cautious.

The Lift gave me an idea for a Challenge run: * Start with the Lift * You cannot bring up resources * You cannot upgrade Lift Orbs * You cannot get Gravitational Lift supliment * You cannot use Drones In this Challenge you have to bring resources to the middle and wait for the orbs to bring them up. Luckless, your H2O disappeared because you watered the seed, not because you detonated the bomb. Didn't you realize you never had to water it after planting in order for it to root down & grow? 😅

Very entertaining run. Missiles are really strong and the quick worms + supplemented resource packers is near broken I think 😁.
