Some of the shit that peeps have come up with is just.... like WTF? We also have a GoogleDoc containing the "rules" for the FC. Mix of funny, stupid and vaguely serious stuff. For example, my character is not allowed to drop kick Lallas who insult her :P

For me, it's like writing a story but the next paragraph is filled in by someone else so you never know how it'll go. I still deeply love RP, I just found the methods/limitation of FFXIV too constricting.
less salt? ive been in quite a few raids and they get pretty salty if you screw up just like- even once. finding statics through friends is a good way of finding a chill one from my experience. making connections with the people you are raiding with . rpers get to know eachother, not just their character, on a pretty extensive level.

Final Fantasy 14 is a great and healthy MMO to get into. My friends convinced me to try it last summer and I finally got to a point recently where I could sub to it. It's been a blast.

Loving your red mage glam! And absolutely, I love rp events (that was my favourite part of playing WoW tbh). My friends and I have been taking road trips to other servers to check out rp houses. Recently we went to a maid cafe event! It was super immersive and fun, so props to the people who organized and hosted it.
Not gonna lie, seeing Shenpai's progression in this game I'm super jealous of her for finding so much time to play, and having so many friends and fans to hang out with when she does... Here I am: - couldn't see my first Savage raid endeavor in Alphascape through to the end - because our team still spent a lot of time on the raids but didn't progress very well, completely out of the loop on Eureka as a side effect - Didn't find time for extreme primals - Didn't find time for Rathalos - hardly ever leveled gatherers or crafters (none of them have even reached HW level-range) just... makes me sad

I'm on Balmung and for the first few days of the initial World Visit, it was incredibly hard to go into any of the main cities, and just so frustrating and annoying. I ended up turning of shout chat when I HAD to go to Limsa to turn in provisioning missions and squadron stuff. BUT On the first day, it was really heartwarming, when you loaded into Ul'dah, there was a line of people doing cheering emotes, or dancing and saying 'Welcome to Balmung!!' and it was the cutest thing. Toxic players 0 | Happy RPers +1 for wholesome
