This is my favorite Kirby game even now. Kirby is always becoming bigger with growing adventures, but something about this title embodies a seed and design philosophy for what I love about Kirby. It's "Kirbyism" taken to a max state and a lot of iconic ideas came from it. It's just so memorable. I'm loving new games, but I always come back to Super Star.
This just got recommended to me and after watching all of it I'm in disbelief you have so little subscribers. The editing is on point, your narration impeccable, and your analysis incredible. Super Star is one of my all time favorite games and you did it justice with this video and not only that, but made me appreciate it more than I already did. A little thing I would like to mention is that Marx getting his form from the wish is vague, maybe he did get it from the wish but things like him being a magician and on later games (which I believe you didn't take into consideration) easily alternating between his normal and true form may imply otherwise.
Really appreciate this review. I had found a copy of this game and really knew nothing about it. I was confused by the multiple games and what it offered. Your review is quite substantial in telling what Kirby offers. I look forward to experiencing the joys of Kirby brought forth in this gem.
I got this video randomly recommended to me two years after it was uploaded, and I gotta say this is very well done. Your words paint such a beautiful picture of what Super Star means to you and a lot of other people, and the thesis is compelling. Keep in mind that I say that as someone who has somewhat mixed feelings on how Super Star does its multi-game format in general (in particular, I think the games would ideally have more story connections/references to each other along the lines of Dyna Blade appearing in Revenge of Meta Knight. I don't like how mostly isolated from each other they are in that sense, especially Milky Way Wishes since that's supposed to be Super Star's climax). This video hasn't changed my opinion on that, but it has made me look at Super Star a bit differently now (not that I ever disliked it to be clear. I've always thought it was still overall a great game for how it expands what Kirby's capable of).
Wow, what an amazing video. I love the central premise, that this game is a statement about the future direction of the franchise. It's hard to find a good premise for an essay, but you did a fantastic job. There is so much good stuff to unpack here, I'm glad I watched this.
I picked up an original cartridge for this game over the summer, and I love it so much! It’s quickly become one of my favorite games on the systems, and each of the games have so much variety and pure fun baked into them. They’re all great, but I can’t help but hold a special place in my heart for gourmet race. That all being said, your video was excellent. I love your calm tone as you take a really nice, in depth look into all these games. Can’t wait to see more from you!

Kirby moves faster, harder to grab stars, more precision needed between enemies, more aggressive enemies, music is better, I like the character sprites better, and most importantly the co-op is way more intuitive with online or local on Switch too. It's a game I play with my friends and family. What ppl prefer will depend and both are great.
@@MegaKirbySuperstar Ah, I was attempting to make a joke with the sheer improvements made by Super Star Ultra, but like many things related to sarcasm, it can be very hard to properly discern over text. No I do really like Super Star, and find t a major improvement and key turning point for the series I love, but I will say that Ultra really does work as a frankly incredible remake, which makes it a deliberate choice when I choose to replay the original over it. Either way, hope you have a pleasant day :)
