You here again?
France 1998-2000 had one of the best teams ever , tremendous talents with unique skills, excellent pace , and one of the greatest meastros called Zizou
It had alot of great players but as an overall team wasnt good
Zidane carried them
2000 euros he was player of the tournament and clutched up against england to qualify
Scoring a free kick in 90+
And a pen in extra time
And in the 1998 world cup france wasnt good zidane was averaging like 3 createdt chances per game (there is no official stat this is an exaggeration but it might be true ) he created 7 chances against brazil in the final and scored 2 goals
And then in the 2002 world cup when zidane got injured they couldnt get past the group stage
Suddenly next world cup
A retiring zidane carrid them to the final
He scored against spain and made a couple of chances
Then against brazil he made 2 1 on 1 chances and a chance which was greatly delivered by henry from the set piece
And scored against portugal
And opened the score sheet in the final with the best ever penalty against the goat keeper
And was named player of the tournament
So in 2000 euros
Zidane had 6 g/a
In 2006 world cup he had 8 g/a
And in 1998 world cup he had 6 g/a
And remember zidane played in a 2 by 2 midfield
And by the way mot of them are knockouts
Like in the euros his only 2 goals were knockout along with four assists
And god knows how many chances created
