I got really interested in how you translated this into characters having body language and other nuances to observe onto that animated cars doesn't have 😃🎶
Whenever I see someone animate them as humans, I'm impressed. Especially because these characters are big things with big wheels, so sometimes making them move as humans is challenging. (Like Mator during many of his funny situations, for example.)
A quick note from a Cars fan: Cars isn’t(just) about the Cars, or the toys or even the terrible worldbuilding; and yes everyone and their mother has beaten the old dead horse of how the world building makes no sense, and falls apart if you think about it for more than 5 seconds, trust me; we fans get that and hear you more than anyone. But if you look past that and read between the lines, you’ll see: Beautiful, soft, human moments, the natural dialogue. The incredible and subtle voices and humor; and the INCREDIBLE animation that STILL holds up to this day. THIS scene, this animation perfectly demonstrates that. And unfortunately, that’s something that all the sequels and spin-offs never quite seem to grasp. Because all they see is “ooh kids love cars add that sell more toys.” Then you get garbage spin-offs and people point and laugh at that and use that to justify their hatred of the franchise, without even giving the original a shot. It’s fine to disagree but I hope you at least understand where I’m coming from. And stop being soo angry and vocal about your hate when everyone’s already heard your points and you have nothing to new to add. just…. Let’s all respectfully disagree and move on!
Since my mother came from a dying small-town, this film always resonated with me, ever since I was a kid. It was only after a rewatch as an adult I realized how IMPORTANT the message about the death of small town America they were telling was and how beautifully they handled it
I get it. Personally, I don't credit the following movies with legitimacy, as they are simply the cash grab for toys, instead of the casting for a story.
It got me thinking, imagine if Cars was a racing movie (it's not just racing but let's consider that) but with humans? Excellent animation, especially in the body language of the characters

Unlike Doc Sally wasn’t angry at Lightning for accidentally damaging the road and secretly she knew Lightning didn’t mean to be sarcastic when he tried to fix the road his way
She definitely wasn't mad that he fucked up the road initially. She was more mad that he wouldn't accept responsibility for it at first and even going as far to make things worse in a half-assed attempt to get the road fixed faster. But it's only once he started really committing to the task and bonding with Mater that she began to care for him.
Damn, I never imagined how the movie would be in human form, it honestly looks great. I believe that if it was targeted towards teens or pre-teens this would more or less be the artstyle, instead of what they used.
This is one of my favorite scenes from Cars. And seeing someone take it and humanize it is incredible. 👏👏 A little constructive criticism: Sally looks a little bit too stern in this scene. Her body language in the film indicates she was a bit more concerned than anything else. Other than that, great work. 👍🏻
Cars is my favorite Pixar movie. Everyone likes to joke and toss it aside because it's talking cars. But to me it's the most human of all the stories. Finding your path in life, who do you become when you realize your path is different than what you thought, how do you find yourself when the road in front of you isn't built yet? It's also about finding the beauty in the little things in life and realizing that the little things are actually the biggest path to finding who you are and finding your happiness. God I love Cars so much.

In the first episode of the Disney+ limited series “Cars on the Road,” Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater visit a dinosaur park called “Cartaceous Gardens.” In this episode we learn that the cars of this world had evolved from dino-cars, who are known to have hatched from eggs. Because the current cars have only evolved to have written and spoken language as well as wheels instead of treads, one must assume that they still lay eggs. It is unclear how they reproduce, but nonetheless it is certain that female cars lay eggs from their exhaust pipe.
