It's my tribude to Zoidberg for being the best character ever made.

He is truly the kindest soul on the show. Thats why him finding his true love was one of the best episodes.

Oddly enough some prisoners used to make money off of ships in a bottle, these were often sold to the few people they were allowed to have contact with like judges and prison guards. I don't think you can do this in the modern ERA due to the whole "Tiny saw used to escape through the vents" issue.

I often feel bad for zoidberg. He’s the kindest soul on the show and the most innocent (even though he’s committed a few crimes and did a few bad things) and yet they all bully him.
It's actually social commentary, given how frequently the very thing you mentioned tends to happen in reality.

Aw, everyone is so mean to Zoidberg. But I think he'd be a sweet friend. Sure, he's pretty needy, but sometimes having a buddy stuck to you like a barnacle gets you through the worst of times. Zoidberg is, along side Bender and Roger from the American Dad, one of the best characters in adult cartoon history.The voice, mannerisms, his famous run with the incredible funny sounds he's creating, the stench he naturally oozes... All those things make him a legendary character in my book. I'm annoyed that Simpsons are still running while Futurama was cancelled while being order of magnitude better than the famous yellow family.
Zoidberg is a classic anti hero persona that you have no choice but to love and feel sorry for in the same moment.
Futurama was better off dead. Look at what crap they brought back now. Each next episode worse than the previous one.
I am pretty happy they stopped when they did. The last season or two were noticably less good.
