As Los Bravos sang in 1966....Black is Black... that 57 looks fantastic in lined Black.... that's going back to my spotting days in the 50s and 60s....Great video ....thanks.
@@trainsplanesI haven't seen 57 311 in months..... Is it still operating or has it had mechanical problems?....... Lovely capture of 57 002.... Well done and a brilliant video..
There’s a few websites you can use - Take a look at RealTimeTrains, Railcam, Transylvania, OpenTrainTimes etc.. They all offer slightly different features but all help to follow and identify workings. 👍
It’s one of the better stations about from what I’ve seen - Crewe and others are shocking compared to Stafford.. Not that this makes it acceptable though 👍
Oh come on, nit-picking! This channel is consistently great, it's about the railway, not grammatical mishaps. Now, should I have used a semi colon? 🤔☺️
Hi Lewis, the class 57’s were formerly class 47’s. They had their original Sulzer engines replaced with EMD engines and were subsequently reclassified from 47’s to 57’s.
I doff my cap to the ones who painted 57002 in black - that looks absolutely amazing.
Nice catch - nice video
lovely to see a class 37 in green just as i remember them years ago,
Love the LMS livery on 57002. Great video with superb camera work.
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Good selection of workings and motive power
57002 looks great in LNWR lined black
Dat woz an ace video. 😉😂

Excellent video as always 👍
Great video!
That LSL 57 looks superb. Be nice if they put an LNWR style name and nameplate on it too!
I’m sure they’ll have plans for it 🤞👍
wow another 57 in lnwr black livery love it great video mate
Excellent viewing. I got to crewe eventually, missed the 37, but got some 66s & an 805. I'm happy. 😊😊
Well done 👍
@@trainsplanes . Stafford next. That might be next year.
I saw 57002 at Eastleigh when I did the 313 201 driving experience there
Be good to see 002 and 003 working a train together
I wouldn’t mind seeing 002 & 311 double-heading in the same livery 👌👍

How do you find out where the freight trains are going?

Lots of Buddleia around the Station area that needs to be got rid of…

10 minutes? What? This is too good for 10 min. Should be 1 hour, minimum!!! Thank you for careful videography
Thanks - I’ll be back with another again soon 👍🎥
One little tip. The possessive pronoun, its, has no apostrophe. It's is the contraction of "it is". 57002 is making its debut ... 😉
Thanks you’ll have to excuse me there - Not my strongest point!
Oh come on, nit-picking!

Why does the 57 look like a 47?
That's why they are nicknamed "the bodysnatcher".
Hi Lewis, the class 57’s were formerly class 47’s. They had their original Sulzer engines replaced with EMD engines and were subsequently reclassified from 47’s to 57’s.
@@trainsplanes thank you for the explanation. Do you know why they replaced the engine?
@@LewisSmiles 33 were converted by Brush at Loughborough between 1998-2003/2004.
@@trainsplanes thanks, appreciate it
Is there more than one 57002? Bloody thing always follows me about, and now crops up in my YT Feed… FFS 🤮🤯😂
So............. where da ferq was all this happening? You give NO indication of the location.
If you watch the first 10 seconds of the video again - It tells you the location is Stafford 👍
