I went to see Mylon and broken heart every year they came to birmingham, al. I was having some problems one year when he came and when the altar call was given i went up front for prayer....We were sent backstage for counselers to pray with us. After a few minutes i felt someone elses hand on my shoulder. Looked up and it was Mylon..He stayed there and talked to me about the problems i was having and prayed with me for over an hour and a half. Mylon is a true Man of God!!!!!!!
MYlon loved is in love with dispensationalism. He had a heart attack in 89, the same year i had a divorce!!! Hope deffered makes the hearty sick! Jesus did everything, Carnal minds dont get it!!
I love & miss you Mylon, my good brotha. This dude had it goin on waaay before Michael Jackson thought of it. In fact, Mylon's first big hit was a song he wrote for Elvis Presley. Yep, that's right. Broken Heart's stage show was always top notch. One of the best 80's Christian Rockers out there. Thanks for posting this, Drex.
Say what you want, but this was the place and the night I gave my life to God. A week, my husband did. Later we moved to ATL, on God's promise, as a volunteer, where I then became his personal asst, ministry coordinator and office manager. God is still on the throne and Jesus Is Lord. We continue to see millions of lives changed. And our work continues. Though I remain in ATL, I bless my brothers & sisters in Christ and my life was changed for his ministry and faithfulness to his calling.
Ah the cheesiness of the 80s! I like this song, like the band - but my gosh, the cheese we thought was so cool back then! Synchronized dance moves, big ol' shoulder pads, and the ever present keytar! Ugh! Last time I saw M&BH sing this he forgot part of the lyrics!
They put on a great show. I loved the New Year's eve show they did in Columbus, Ohio. It was one of the best nights of my young adult life. Heartsong Records had an all-night party we went to after the concert. Good times. :)

MYLON WAS ON THOSE WRONG ROADS; IN HIS YOUTH THEN GOD CHOOSE HIM TO SERVE MOST ALL PEOPLE HAVE A DARK PAST NOTHING JESUS CAN'T HANDLE

I remember seeing the concert in Houston. It was a great show, even it was very "digital processes"
@dbwokc Oh, yeah, very cheesy -- but I still love the song. They were a lot of fun to see in concert, cheese or not. :D

I KNOW THOSE SOUNDS. I have a Simmons SDS7 too. Great drums.
Eternal message, fabulous arrangement, unique choreography. Wow
One of the best composed contemporary Christian songs of all time.
Finding these Mylon vids just made my day! We have his music on vinyl, but no way to play it for AGES. This is AWESOME!!!!
enjoy
Rest In Peace ☮️ so much talent in heaven now

I took my young son to see Mylon and The Brokenhearts around this time and it was a great experience for both of us. I loved seeing this video.
Very much like their performance in Jacksonville, FL around the same time.
@scottinsc Yeah, can you say Drum Machines?
The real video for this is even cheesier..
Saw them in Orlando, FL in 85 or 86. What a treat! I wore out the tape listening to this song over and over.
Awesome! This was my favorite song when I was 5, and I adored seeing them live at Icthus in Wilmore, KY during this tour.
Wow! that takes me back!!
yeahh!!!
How is it going now?
