I attended Mount Paran with Mylon and the band in the 80's-90's. When they weren't on the road, they were generally at the 11 AM service sitting in the balcony. They played at the Atlanta Civic Center on Saturday night. They were in church the next morning. I remember when they did this song I thought the Lord was going to crack the sky for us that night! I can't remember what year it was, but Kim Boyce opened for them.

My Wife knows to play Gospel ship by you guys at my funeral! by the way my 3 kids Love you guys also!
Had the pleasure of seeing Mylon perform this live when he toured with Petra for this album. He was such a genuine and considerate guy. Took a lot of time to hang out and chat with fans. It was a memorable night.

Mylon and Broken Heart certainly were given a great gift to write songs: words and melodies. Makes me excited to BE home with the Lord. In this world we have tribulation, but in the days of these songs, we took a break from tribulation and spent most of our time in the "heavenly" kingdom.
In elementary school, I used to ask my Dad to put this on the record player when it was thundering out. I'd run over to the screen door and look out at the storm and sing it at the top of my lungs. Awesome memory!
We were at a concert in MD in a large old theater in downtown where they were playing one night. Their pyrotechnics set off the fire alarms...the firemen came and tried to get them to stop the show, but they kept right on singing. So, the firemen opened all the exit/ emergency doors. Later we found out that because the doors were opened to the city streets that a girl outside was able to listen and accept Christ that night! Thank you Mylon for touching so many hearts. Miss you!
I'm SO happy to have found this music. Mylon & Broken Heart were instrumental in saving my life, giving me hope, many years ago when life felt broken. Today I am a nurse and help other people find hope. Thank you!

Contemporary Christian music was just coming into its own in the mid 80’s. what a great time (thank goodness the hair has improved a bit since then)

We all thought that - that was it for the night. Then you came on,... set up in 5 min, and played this song.... With what was happening above us... I really thought that Jesus was coming That Night... You guys were awesome!
Canton Palace Theater in January 1989.. I took my girlfriend to a Mylon & Broken Heart concert. She accepted Jesus as her savior that evening. I married her just over a year later!

That is the reason for all the close-ups... also looks like it was transferred from an old VHS tape. Much fun to see this after I had forgotten about it!!!

I never hear this music in church or K-love or ANY christian radio station! Secular radio stations play oldies, why not christian stations?
