I’m more interested in what he was doing after this. His whole death row east movement was in the works with Eric B. The One nation album. So much to look forward to. R.I.P.
It’s easy to take shots at the legend almost 30 years later but 2pac would’ve chewed them up and spit them out. They weren’t even as big as Nas or biggie … you think pac wouldn’t have ate them too ???
Pac showed us that new York rappers were and are still not united as the LA rappers were back then... Wu tang, Lox, M. O. P, mobb deep, would have stood up to that diss if they were loyal to new York or east coast but they were playing both sides or giving respect to a rapper who was disrespecting them and they attack the rapper who came after them and mentioned that east is being disrespected.
I like this comment and as much as I wanna disagree I can’t. Nas was asked by mobb deep to get on L.A LA and Nas denied. Lox was told not to respond as well Method man even told a story how he didn’t wanna get in a car with big and puff cause he didn’t want people to think he was taking sides, like what? Dude this man just went at the whole NYC and you scared to ride in a car? And I Love meth he’s one of my favorites but come on. mobb deep really the ones who showed pride. “Who shot ya you probably screamed louder than a opera New York Gotcha”
You have to look at it as hit em up being deeper than rap. It was the most legendary diss rap of all time in terms of raw visceral nature. In a world where people get shot for stepping on your shoes, or you getting dunked on at a basketball court, People definitely had plans to off him for it. And if you know people naturally react that way, why needlessly involve yourself in the aftermath, in the police investigations, in the court of public opinion where people blindly point fingers and say “method man did it” because of the lyrics from his response? If you know how the law and the streets move, the dumbest thing to do would be to respond. It’s a lose lose situation. The way that nas and jay went about it was totally different. They had interviews before they released their tracks where nas said “we agreed to do it in a way where we don’t end up like anther statistic.” They were conscious of the worst that could happen, and rapped accordingly based on self preservation.
PAC destroyed the whole New York and nobody said anything from a peep to a whisper when that man was alive 27 years later every rapper from New York had a response for hit em up lmao

But they're disses wasn't disrespectful??? Man please! And who is style's P? Just someone been in the rap game 30 years? So!!! He doesn't decide what someone can say on THEIR track!
Styles’ reasoning for not dissing Pac is odd. 1. If you weren’t big enough, going after the biggest dog would have definitely made noise. 2. So what if nobody was doing it? Do your own thing. Be a leader.

People still don't know what a subliminal is. When Biggie said "It's Ill when MC's used to be on cruddy sh!t took home Ready To Die listened studied sh!t...." that's a SUB. Making blatant references to people without saying a name ain't a sub my g. I absolutely believe The LOX would have got back at Pac if that''s what it came down to. They spoke about this years ago and they are battle tested. LOX was battling in their 30's. You think some young hot heads in their 20's with something to prove wouldn't go in? As bad as it was I think 2Pac's passing was somewhat of a blessing. A blessing in the sense of Suge was gonna stay in his ear about these rappers and pushing Pac and pushing. Pac wasn't gonna stop until several people got hurt with all that nonsense. Biggie said himself if you feed it into it's gonna escalate. Mobb Deep was ready to pop off. Just imagine Pac getting wind of what Puffy was saying on those mixtapes. Hip Hop would have turned into a really clown show with these videos, cartoons and bumper stickers promoting this fake "beef". I was a little kid back then but looking at it now it was all a show. Death Row and Bad Boy have a showdown at the Soul Train Awards and NOBODY threw a punch or fired a shot. There was a whole lotta woofin goin on and NO ACTION.
What fuels you kind of dudes? Like do you truly believe the bull you type? Like seriously. Are you that desperate for attention or is your ego so big you're truly incapable of realizing the stuff you just posted is moronic bull?

I was alive 2 see it I was there . the album didn’t even realease until Oct 8 1996 the single came out late August 26th. Two weeks before PAC WAS SET UP IN VEga$
No it didn’t that song came out after he was shot in quad studio not after he died 😂😂😂😂
I'm from Oakland love to pac
King James version I was bumping that 6 times today meet a Mexican who is from far Rockaway Queens why out here Oakland like today shit Krazy but yeah 2pac born NYC got his game welcome to Baltimore the Los Angeles what did that sign say in California love video WELCOME TO WHERE? Its funny how nobody never really respond to that song ; it just left them frozen stiff 😂.

The Lox response would have been hot. Jadakiss would've been on a hit list.
at this point mane stop asking these clowns about pac cause they all tuff tht he not around nd can respond like they want to... just like how they did about suge but soon as the news got out he might be coming home they quiet as a church mouse... but if he was still out snoop would still be like... u aint gone let him in is you😂😂😂😂... cowards mane...

That East Coast West Coast beef was intense I remember it when I was young.
Some y’all New York rappers deserved it too!! Y’all dissed 2Pac when he was in jail then got mad when he got out and responded 😂😂😂💯💯💯
Why was he in jail?
Kadafi, Fatal and Napoleon would've been enough for Sheek, Styles and Jada
I'll always remember pac saying he would cut up lil casear into pieces.. that was crazy
I was 12 years old when that song came out and pacs lyrics were felt
He killed Lil Kim
Little Ceasar, go ask yo homie how ill leave ya, cut yo young ass up, leave you in pieces, now be deceased. Lil Kim don't fk around wit real Gz, quick to snatch yo ugly ass off the streets, so fk peace.

They didn't want that smoke. Notice everybody say they weren't afraid of pac and suge now they're gone. 😏
Difference between Pac and these other niggas is he said names not subliminals trynna figure out who it was bout
Kool Moe Dee said ‘Jack the ripper, down wit my zipper…’😂
Now that I’m older Pac wasn’t respecting the creativity in battle rapping if he was gonna be on that with Big. He should’ve made it more fun instead of being disrespectful and blatant, “Hit’em Up” was just angry and him yelling.
He was angry. It wasn't just a rap battle, you didn't listen to Hit em up🤨
No Vaseline apart of hip hop which is the #1 diss track so why ain't it hip hop when he get disrespectful?
@@msfergie5851 I did and now that I’m older he did a lot better on “Against All Odds”. “Hit’em Up” just had a lot of energy it wasn’t creative, it wasn’t thought provoking, nothing just Pac screaming on Big and some other east coast rappers, him talking shit at the end of the record hit better than his 2 verses he did. It wasn’t creative like how Cube did “No Vaseline” or any other classic diss song. He put more effort on “Against All Odds”.
@@jetla22 no Vaseline wasn’t disrespectful, it was skillful and respectful. Cube didn’t speak on none of they kids, wives, nothing outside of NWA and Ruthless records. He showed lyrical skill, “No Vaseline” can never be compared too “Hit’em Up”.

Exactly NY rappers are clowns and biased
People forget about DJ QUIK vesre on Penthouse Players Clique"s song "PS PHUK U 2" that was like 3/4 years before Tupac signed to Death Row

Another 2pac interview. And he's not even here anymore lol.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 2pac is alive and well and This is a 2pac channel y'all be mad y'all favorite rappers lame
Pac would have destroyed them, before they came out!! And DMX for that 🌈 line he made at Pac for clout
It’s easy to take shots at the legend almost 30 years later but 2pac would’ve chewed them up and spit them out. They weren’t even as big as Nas or biggie … you think pac wouldn’t have ate them too ???
PAC would have ended y’all career early🤷🏾♂️
N.Y DUDES ALL IN THEY FEELINGS
Lox was shook
“Ten steps ahead of niggaz shootin backwards…. Just for practice”

Chain of command bro. He’s in a group, biggie wasn’t responding and puffy wasn’t on that time neither. Can’t go against your team on this one

It was a blessing to him rapwise because he died before people could respond properly to him.Now we have this invincible image of him that wouldn't be there if jay z and ruff Ryder's had stood up to him.
