The insight, clarity, and humility you demonstrate here in evaluating your own work is amazing! Wishing you continued good fortune and growth in your endeavors, thank you for sharing.
Well these are like some of the highest tier schools that require this level of talent, because they want to make sure you have complete mastery of basics so they can build up your advanced skills without having to worry about if you can handle the other things
I couldn’t know how harsh this field is as I don’t work in it-but your character rotations in particular look so good to me & I can’t believe you lost points on them!
Wow I didn't expect to receive so much support for this video. Thank you so much for the feedback. Good luck for anyone who's applying for the program and congratulations if you are accepted!
Wow as someone who is currently unsure of what they want to do in the arts field and feeling very overwhelmed with portfolios and programs this vid really helped me
Sorry I didn't reply when you commented. I've been in that stage before and I'm sure everyone experience this at different stages in their lives when they need to make lots of efforts and decisions. I hope you already feel better, and good luck on your applications! One day you will look back to these days and say: wow I really made it!
I applied for Sheridan's game design course years ago and the portfolio for that was tough but it was nothing compared to this! My dad's a professor there so I know how crazy competitive it is, congrats on getting accepted!
Mad respect for you, all the things you’ve learned and practiced and the advice you give on this video are very valuable. Thank you for sharing! I wish you the best on your creative path :)
Thanks for sharing :D, this video reminds me with my days in university when I was studying cartoon and animation. By the way the design of the video is so cute. Keep it up.
I didn't know there was a website where you can find models to draw, learned a lot from this video, it’s pretty concise so it's easy to understand, thank you 😊❤
i don't really understand why those type of colleges need students with this level of knowledge, is like, you know draw well but we need more, isn't a bad thinking tho, but that's the reason why the colleges exist, to learn things that maybe a lot of artists don't and a minority yes
I did not fully understand what was the problem with your rotating characters, I personally think they both looked amazing. But as you lost some points, there must be obvious mistakes, but what was it?
If you were to draw vertical lines tangential to the outermost parts of the character, you would find that parts of the character fall short of rotation.
hi i have a question how does it work? i've watched a lot of people that applied and for apply everyone use the same exercises. Like the sme juice box and those characters for storyboard practices. So in school they are teaching you guys that and later if you wanna apply you have to show?so pls can anybody tell how does it work?
How did you get to this level of art 😩 I’m genuinely asking, I’m a freshman in high school and I don’t know what I should do to get to a level like yours.
Ahh thank you so much! My suggestion is draw things that you enjoy and take visual art classes in your high school. Don't worry, you have so much time to improve! The most important thing is to be consistent and enjoy what you do.

Thank you! Glad you like it.
It's kinda crazy what's expected of you just to get IN a college nowadays.
Same thoughts...I'm getting nervous 🥲
